That's a pretty low bar, considering there are people married for 50+ years. I don't mock the 22 years of marriage, but there couples that've been married far longer than that and that's truly inspiring.

Christian Bale is my forever crush. It started with Equilibrium and never ever ended. I think the man deserves the world for the kind of joy he brings to us through his incredible talent. I feel so happy to see him in a solid relationship with a strong and wonderful person that has crossed two decades and must have survived a lot of adversities.
For me it was Empire of the sun way back in 1985. I saw him and River Phoenix and it was game over for me. Like “I’ll take these two to go”…. And Samantha got to have BOTH of them. Them AND Christian Slater. Grrrrrr 😑 I’m not saying Samantha is some raving beauty but Bale took the “safe bet” if you know what I mean.
Same for me! I have crushed at him since 1994! 30 years strong! I think he brings something; integrity, drive, genuineness, artistry, that is often not seen in actors. He lacks the same “look at me!” Ego. He truly acts because he is a genuine actor, not for the fame and awards, and I think we, who have these forever crushes, get that 😊

Christian can seem intense. Sibi seems wonderfully chill and kind. A good, healthy balance. Admire her for not being seduced by the limelight. Joy to them and all.
I have respect to wife's of Daniel day Lewis and Christian bale..they r extreme method actors which effects their personal life's.. who picks roles only when needed . so the wife's have to step up their game and take care of kids..and not just bearing them they stuck for a while
the irony is that Christian said more than a few times in the interviews that he is NOT a method actor. he just takes his job passionately but he is not 'the method' he never studied acting, he is natural, and a child actor who successfully transitioned to adult acting.

Well this was absolutely refreshing to hear about a successful celebrity marriage!! Few and far between!! To boot, Christian and Sibi are incredibly gorgeous together!!
It takes a lot of work. I work in film and divorce is very common. If you work in film, you have to really work to find compromises and communication to make it work. You also have to make sure your partner understands how the industry and career in film work. You WILL spend a long time away for work and there may even be years where you will be super busy. The marriages that work are the ones with great communication, understanding, and compromise from both sides (aka maybe take a break from film once in a while to spend time with family).
I totally understand why Christian never wanted to get married because of the fact his family's poor track in the marriage department most of the members in both sides of my family have been divorced or in a dysfunctional relationships because of that I vow never to get married

Except for the clickbaity title in her video font. Loved this, he’s cool. And he was obviously, not trying to attack his mom physically, he only pushed her during an argument. Verbal temper issue, and minor physical situation. His family has a history of divorce so. Not surprised there would be some family disfunction.
His mother and sister were selling stories to a UK tabloid. His wife confronted the two of them when his sister got in her face and became physical. Christian stepped in, and his mother was pushed in the kerfuffle.

They just sadly wanted money and didn’t care how they got it, sad for him. But they did work it out. Because they had never done that before. So must have been desperate. And too proud to ask for help or worried about looking like financial leaches, maybe.
I agree. Like River Phoenix, Christian seemed to be his family’s meal ticket or golden calf. That has to be extraordinarily hard on a child. Glad he seems so joyful now.
