Hey man, thanks for your video. I done everything you posted and my mustang AC/compressor starts working only with the paper clips in the switch. I bought a new switch and the compressor doesn't engage after after installation. Any ideas?
Paperclip worked, got a new switch, still no luck. Refilled the r134, still no. Checked my fuses next to the battery and they're good. I'm going to check the pcm in the fender, sound like that could be it. Here is a video explaining that repair. $5 relay compared to a new pcm for $250+. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-06unn3DB8Kc.html I'll try to get back with my results in a couple weeks when I get to it.
oh nevermind, I just bought the part and installed it but the clutch only spins with the paperclip installed, same problem as (Altavier Young in comments below)
Have you figured out what was wrong? Mines doing the same thing, replaced the switch and refilled refrigerant but it still only works with the paper clip.
@@savage_e8020 not sure what you mean by new part, I only tried the paper clip technique to make sure the compressor still works before I bought a whole new one
@@thisisaroc I bought a new pow pressure switch and it still blows warm and idles weird but I just bought a ac recharge from autozone gonna try that when it cools down out
Altavier Young 3:36 I pulled the low pressure switch off and put a paper clip in one hole and the other side of the paper clip to the other hole. Thats one side jumping to the next. Hope that helps
