Could you please send a picture of how you spliced the wiring harness and what colored wire you connected to the cars original screen wire?

Hello I've watched the video and thank you. My RX300 is non-Nakamichi, just want to say that outright. For the wiring harness in the back, I've "plug and played" all that was available, and the screen doesn't turn on. So I'm definitely missing something. Along the top of the screen in the rear are white plugs (directions are very vague, but it says one of them is a USB). Could you please explain or reach out to me for some help with the wiring connections. Right now what should work doesn't and it's probably user error. Thank you - John

I have the same unit, you are right about the color wires in the wrong place for power. I had to bypass them. My issue is after installation and it powers on. I get no sound. I don't have the Nakamichi version but the regular premium sound. radio. I could not get the antenna to power up either any - suggestions? does that have an amp also that I need to bypass?

Does the volume knob work to control the new head unit? Looks good. Thinking about one for mine.

What's the point of keeping the cassette system and all those buttons when you get the touch screen. Can we upgrade this while in there with something else? Anything you'd recommend?

Good video for knowledge. Personally I have seen too many issues with the lower end Android units. RX300 owners are kinda hosed. Who ever decided to combine the head unit and climate control in ALL vehicles should be punched in the face lol.

Brother, even on the non Nakamichi those wiring harnesses are not pinned correctly. U have to de pin And Repin. I found out the hard way. The amp was probably not bad but it is wired more like a 2-channel as opposed to a real 6 channel. It also has that awful bass roll off.

Hi Khmer! I have the same car except that mine is not nakamichi radio. mine is correct, but my problem is that my head unit turns on and then off instantly.
