Well I know what I'm doing when I get the mechanical bits of my RX300 working. Thank you so much for the video. I personally might go with a touchscreen head unit but that's me. cheers

If you’re installing a new amp and speakers, the bypass would be completely unnecessary and you’d just route the speakers directly to the new amp right?

I just got a 10.1 android 2000 lexus rx300 new radio. i changed it but it doesnt turn on and now the windows wont go down.

I feel the kit at $500+ is a waste if your not going all in with new speakers and AMP. I wish there was a third party alternative to the A/C issue.

A couple of notes: 1= Without installing an aftermarket amp, you're not able to hookup the subwoofer that is under the passenger seat. So losing a little bass in the system (a tiny mono sub amp can fit easily behind the glove box area). 2 = People should know that the Metra kit has some issues. a] it does not dim at night with the dash lights. You can adjust the brightness in the menu but it is either going to be dark during the day or way to bright at night. For the price of this kit, Metra not including a dimmer line for the screen/controls is unacceptable. b] even thou some models of this kit in other vehicles will display the vehicle's outdoor temperature sensor, this one for the RX300 does not. So you lose that feature. 3 = more a criticism on the installation; you guys need to learn to solder & heat shrink. That wiring looks nasty, I would never let a customer's vehicle leave like that. You left a lot of bare wires as well, doesn't mater if those lines weren't used, they should never be left exposed.

I watch the video but the after mounting kits is way too expensive. I just installed one everything including climate control under $200
