People complaining about the price. Depending on the floorplan and options these sold for a little more or a little less than 70K. I believe the last of them around 2002 were in the 80K range. These are built way better than anything you can buy today. They are built with plywood and hardwoods not particle boards and veneers. There are lots of videos today where people are complaining how their 150K+ Class B units are falling apart, lots of them have hardly any miles on them. Cabinet delamination, hardware failing, hinges failing, door hardware failing, cabinets falling apart, issues with the motor, plumbing, etc. In 20 years this unit will be 40 years old and still look and function about the same as it does today, I highly doubt the new units being produced today will be able to say the same.

The cool cat heat pump was an original option but it was usually paired with the 4000 Watt generator and was a 5500 dollar upgrade. The new Cool Cat units are 10,500 BTU these are 12,000 BTU. The rear window can open without the glass falling out. The shelf in the storage area is original. Their rear wheels are a conversion. The dual wheels make it super stable but does not increase load or towing capacity. To widen these they cut down both sides of the van from the front wheel wells to the rear. That's how you end up with such a large bed in the back. The airbags are necessary or the rear wheels will contact the wheel well over bumps or cornering as the dual wheel is under the outside edge of the original wheel well.

Of course, negotiable ($35,000?) - you get what you pay for… a unit with half the age would be possibly twice that price - matter of perspective

@@ramsterrod I do not begrudge anyone making a good living. However, what is the difference between a gas station charging $3/ gallon or $6/ gallon during the aftermath of a hurricane? Perspective... I know the market for these vehicles has exponentially grown since covid, but I have also noticed the price for the same vehicles offered last year have become almost price gouging. There's a fine line with this I realize, but my opinion is that the prices have moved past what would be reasonable. A 23 year old vehicle for $40,000? Really?

Very nice rig wholesale value at 15k retail 26 to 28 so at auction it would hammer around 15 to 19k so 40k it's a home run for you the down fall of this rig is the dodge platform

Great travels to the buyer. It was well maintained. I also think Covid is driving sales up as demand growth for new ways of traveling. These airlines are still flying around, but with less than two dozen passengers & crew.
