1999 Audi A6 Alternator Change 2.8 L 

not my regular type stuff but i have this 99 a6 avante im trying to get running good and figured id do a good complete alternator change video since i diddnt find one that was perfectly clear. yes it can be done from the bottom if your willing to bend lines and border the line of suicide haha but this service mode way is very easy and no coolant lines were unhooked except the overflow for my own ease of maneuverability (big arms) easily removed in about 2 hours taking it easy even less if you giver and are prepared after watching this. i checked the exciter wire for voltage first while it was running off battery power and got 7.3 to 8.6 volts at the blue wire.
