Forgive my ignorance as I'm fairly new here, but when did you transition from Autohaus of Naples? Are you the owner of Auto Europa Naples now? Are your auto vids done at your house now? I drove in -25 C top down a few times BUT WITH THE WIND BREAKER INSTALLED and windows up, the jet stream literally "domed" the inside with no cold wind coming in. Same with during the rain, as long as one can maintain 50 km/hr, it is desert dry.

Great car I just picked up the same year model with the 2.8 M52TU double vanos engine. Runs great with 162k miles and leaks nothing. Only difference with mine is it has the sport seats not he standard ones as shown here. Dark charcoal grey exterior/black top, and black interior with same wood center console. These cars have great power even compared to the latest roadster cars like 2018 Miata. I think the only maintenance to worry about is common with any car, water pump, valve cover gasket, tie rods/control arm bushings, drive shaft flex disc, and clutch. Some power top motors fail, like with my car, but they're easy to open and close manually. And yes the 1.9 4 cylinder models were very weak in power so that's why BMW dropped the line and went with only 6 cylinders engine with following years. 2.3 (it's a 2.5 actually), 2.8, 3.0, and the 3.2 M Roadster. If you can't afford the M find the 3.0 version. They are kind of rare. And yes, as said in video, soft top replacements are very affordable. Depends if you go vinyl or canvas. Some sell with fixed rear window. Mine has the removable zippered type. Oh and another thing: with the lever that controls the high beams if you push it in from the side it controls what is displayed on the LED in center console. Time, avg MPH, avg MPG, outside temp, and est miles left on fuel. Not sure if his model has this feature since my has the S/R reset button and his is Hours/Minutes.
