I just purchased the same bike out of SC with 16k miles. I haven’t checked for the numbered cap but I will get back on here and post a video for others to view. It’s mint and has upgraded cam, push rods, pistons, clutch and it runs smooth. I picked it up for 3k.
my dad has that exact same bike its in perfect condition he just changed the wheels he never rides it and i just got my bike liscence so ill be ridin it now its an awesome bike
Hello Matt, First I wanted to say your bike looks good with the ceramic coated header. I wanted to also do that. My bike has the PM Polished wheels, Buell battery cover, and custom painted seat cowl . Man do I miss mine!!
Taken right from the brochure..This limited production model comes with a black frame, black wheels (PM wheels optional) and billet aluminum foot pegs. The Racing Stripe X1 production will be limited to 400 units in the U.S. and 350 units in Europe and will be available in May with an MSRP of $10,899 (US dollars).
This is old, but for anyone still interested, European Blue Racing Stripe bikes (Viper Edition) had numbered fuel cap, US models did not. If you have a Blue Stripe with numbered cap, it was imported back into US from Europe. Blue is much rarer than red. US Red Stripe (RS) all had numbered cap, US and European.
yes indeed, 350 instead of 300.....a friend of mine actualy owns a numbered blue one.....after all, all racingstripes are numbered limited editions....;-)
