These cars were really popular in Poland, and it's still easy to come across one of those in the street. They were very cheap (they were built in Warsaw, in the FSO factory), reliable and they didn't rust, which was very important in a country where every winter means tons of salt dumped on the roads to melt ice and snow.
There is a space for a standard bottle 0.5l or a can right between the audio unit and the ashtray. It pops out on pressure. Also, the vertical position of the steering wheel is adjustable. These two things were somehow wrongly presented in this review.
My memories of doing my twinning degree studies in Brisbane are definitely seeing these odd-looking Daewoos rolling down the road. I do not expect to see these fellas to be almost as durable as a banged-up Corolla Seca.
@@ashleetimms303 Noticeably, there were more old Corolla and Camry cars on Brisbane streets and major roads back in 2009-10 (the years when I was doing twinning degree program) than old Lanos and Nubira. I assume those old Daewoos are going extinct from the Australian roads at much faster rates than similarly banged up Corollas and Camrys lol
I had one once, and to say it was shit is an understatement. It couldn't pick up speed on a flat bit of road so going uphill was a no go. It barely had enough power to get out of its own way
yeah. but it's built in ukraine.and it's cheap. if you know another model called Nexia [or cielo] , that car is also built until today, but in two updated models az Uz-Daewoo Nexia N150 and Ravon Nexia which was unveiled last year [will get to stores in about a week from now]. Check it.
We had one in my family, that crap had the worst air conditioner system ever!!! And yes, I remember that car always had something wrong, always breaking...
No Airbags, no ABS... Did you know that seatbealt won safe you from getting killed the moment you crash in that car? One of the most unsafe cars that have been in the car market...
