It's been very reliable for me, but I had to order a reflashed PCM off eBay so I could pass smog in California. When you do the conversion, you will have a check engine light and the idle will stay high after deceleration for a few seconds. Other than that, I didn't have any issues. The zf5 to manual t-case needs a different bracket for your shifter. I modified the original bracket and made a link using heim joints.
