Right??! Oh man... I miss the pure violence of those 0-60 runs in my old '99 GSX. 450hp felt like 700+hp in the all-wheel drive DSM's built proper. A very beautiful 90's sports car too, the 2G Eclipse.

@Robert Cameron Don't give up man! I've been through very tough times too, things will get better- trust me. I spent my youth building out cars, trying to live way beyond my means even though I was fortunate enough to earn a pretty good living selling car stereos & race mods, then in a series of terrible events I lost literally everything. Had no car for 2 years, and everything I owned was gone. Eventually I picked myself up, things got better and better. I'm not a wealthy man but I have what I need and then some. One flawless '99 M3 coupe later I have an equally flawless '07 Infiniti G35 coupe with the 6-speed manual trans 👍🏻. Not rich people's toys by any means, but worthy of love, and still turning more heads than most factory-fresh new cars. Just do what I did, stay positive even when things seem insurmountable, be patient, and when the right opportunity presents itself grab onto it & make it your way to a better life. You can do this bud ✌🏻

Niiice DSM sir! I had a silver '99 GSX *strikingly* similar to this one a long time ago. I miss that crazy ass car after watching this!! Big ol' GReddy Type 24 front mount intercooler gleaming through the front air dam, all manner of mod work done by Road Race Engineering- forged pistons & rods, 16G turbo, GReddy pipes, Buschur exhaust, Profec B boost controller... so much more, dumped irresponsible money on a full Tein suspension build, and I wasn't out to save weight, Jesus... two snowboard-sized PPI amplifiers, 2 JL Audio 12W3's in a sealed box built into the spare tire well, Boston Pro 6.5 component speakers in custom kickpods, about 10 square miles of Dynamat. Look, I was in my early 20's and I worked in a car audio & performance shop. I had no choice your honor. Anyway that beast machine fucked off my credit till I was 30 🤣 Was it worth it though- Absolutely. That 4G63 motor pushed it 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds. If you have no frame of reference, that's crazy, scary, stupid doo doo fast. Violent. DSM people know what these things are capable of. Too bad after 1999 the Eclipse became one of the lamest coupes ever made... Ugly, no turbo, only front wheel drive 😑 ...Wack

I got lucky and found a rear hatch with the wing from a 2Gb talon tsi without the wiper option which was rare. since i am mixing and matching between the 2Ga and 2Gb keeping the twisted skirts from the 2Ga and going with the rear wing and bumper cover from the 2Gb may also do nose depending on how it looks with the Gt bomber 2 front nose.but the car is looking sweet now Miguel i solved the problem of bumper sag and front mount but making a bracket that mounts on top the of the front mount bar and then raises to support the cover.

My first car was a 93 Laser back in 99. Still miss that thing. Also had several friends that had 1G and 2G cars as their first. I may be biased, but yes... absolutely they make great first cars.
