Loki Keltie it was in the states. Guitar center had a 45 days return policy. I just kept returning the guitars until i found the one I liked. They told me it was OK they didn't mind.
@@ilkerkarakaya5903Same, I was obsessed with guitar. Still am honestly, in my free time guitar is usually the #1 thing on my mind. I still usually play like 3 hours a day.
In another comment he says he kept returning guitars until he found the right one for him as guitar center has a 45 day full refund return policy and they didn't mind that he did this
watching this has made me think about my progress and how much i have improve goes to show you always improve even if you think you don't. keep it up man and hope everyone gets motivation from this!
I have started playing 30y ago, when I was just 8. Stopped being motivation and putting on practice time (adult pressure was a lot to take in back then). Always on and off it throughout the years. Started getting back to it in the last 5 years, but slowly and unevenly. Last year I really studied more and dedicated myself more, but sometimes it falls to the side of daily life. This is very inspiring to keep on practicing, thanks for that! ps.: Although it has its flaws and limitations, when you just want to play and/or learn a new song, Rocksmith has been great for getting out of the Rut intermediates get stuck into. I definitely recommend you give it a try!
This is many years later so you might not see this but great job!!! I have been playing guitar for some years and I can tell you... From there THE FUN BEGINS. I hope you still plays guitar and I hope you the best. Great video and never stop ROCKING!!! ^^
The motivation! I've been playing for 2 months using Yousician by now but never like your 1 hour everyday. Will probably take me longer to reach your level but Im getting there!
I'm playing the guitar 10 years, and I wanna tell one advice, play and practice without distortion, if you sound good without distortion you'll sound better after, if you sound good in clean everything gonna be easier after that
From this video, we can know that anyone can play guitar without a teacher IF we always practice routine. BUT If you want faster progress, there's nothing wrong with Hire a Guitar Teacher. Because from him, we can actually know from where we can start & learn scale, note, chord, and much more. I really love it seeing somebody who struggle to play guitar and actually made it. Great job man (y)
Really nice, I'm just past my first month. Also decided to start a youtube channel for this to keep me motivated and also later being able to check how bad I was. (it's Russian though, but in my short video section I post only the songs, they don't have any language)
Im glad to see you're picking technique has improved over the months haha Keep playing man!! Also as someone else said; maybe try practicing those bends..! If you find it too difficult to bend all the way up, try changing to a smaller string gage :)
It's funny how you reflect on your 60 day mark as 'so bad'. They are the steps we have to take to make progress and look at you now... You're getting there and doing great! 🙂
Now that's a fast learner if I've seen one. Planning to learn guitar with around 1h of practice as day as well and wishing I could somehow reach your level here by year 1. I only have an acoustic guitar right now. Do you recommend me to get an electric guitar soon or am I fine sticking with this one until I'm consistent with the chords, strumming and picking stuff? I heard an electric guitar is much better for beginners due to strings needing a lighter touch making it more forgiving.
Lol, I have been playing guitar for 10 years now and he has more guitars than me xD. Also, for improving your improvisations, I recommend you to learn all the 5 positions of the natural mayor and minor scale, then, start jumping for one position to other and not just going up and down on the same scale. This simple trick will make your impro's sound amazing!
Do yourself a favor and try other methods like a personal online teacher or the tons of high quality courses out there. Marty Schwartz, Steve Stine, Stitch Method, Sean Daniels, Paul Davids - you will learn much more with one of those guys who have many free videos up on RU-vid. Their classes are absolutely affordable.
@@1000poundsguitar Couldn't agree more. My friend and I play the guitar and we both hype each other up and push the other to do better really. My 2nd biggest advice is to learn every song you like, keep searching for songs, and search the tabs online or an online tab lesson on youtube. I did this for around 1.5 months and my progress was pretty big, once I started learning some chords/pentatonic scales/techniques it was really easy (to the point I learned around 7 chords in like 2 minutes) because my fingers were already used to playing and I didn't have to get used to the guitar, I just had to learn it. Learning songs you love is a great way to get used to it and learn how to properly position your arm and your fingers on the fretboard.
I have been playing for a year and a half and can't even improvise yet 😂! Any pointer on where i should start for that? Also this make me realise that i need a lot more structure when i play and that i need to get a lot more serious about it if i want more results!
@@juliendollon thanks i'll try that! Also i just found this video and it seems it just became all clear for some reason! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--W4WRL3wkRU.html&feature=share Been improvising for the last 15-20 minutes and i'm having a blast ahaha! Just had to talk about it to make me look it up again and finally find out how i guess! So in a way you helped me get with your video, so thanks a lot 😁!!
While I do have to congratulate for your achievements, you MUST not forget about your pinky finger. Sure, it's the weakest of them all, but in time it can even be strong enough to do a half tone bend, maybe even more (idk i have girly hands myself). I'd say start with the basic chromatic spider technique, turn on a metronome (yes, guitarists despise that and for no good reason) and get choppin'.
