This guy is a friggin Beast!! I used to teach Exhibition drill in ROTC in High school then later at an at Risk Youth Military academy. I wish I had these mad skills to pass on back then!!
Perry Newberry my follow-up question to that would be was he ever on the USAF HG? Because if he was then maybe I'd forgive him for wearing ceremonials. Either way, unless you're actively serving in those teams you aren't allowed to wear that uniform.
I see. WAS. That again reaffirms my point. He's retired so I guess he can do whatever he wants. Still improper in my opinion, especially in an environment where following the manual and protocol is key.
I'm not squandering his service. I am simply saying that what he is wearing is against protocol, and having served on an honor guard unit he should be fully aware of that. I would imagine he is completely aware yet decided to do it anyway for the sake of being different. I would expect more from someone you are speaking so highly of.
@@KilroyActual i believe he's actually a jrotc instructor so he's permitted. if what he's doing is against protocol, the other judges and people holding the event would've said something about it already
@@cdrshado Negative. He is using a fully weighted Demilitarized 1903/A3 Springfield at 8.5 pounds. This is the World Drill Championship. Light rifles are not allowed.
