roslan bayu Actually they are starting to make it mandatory in some places like Australia. I think it's crazy and I think they are doing this because they're noticing that people are starting to think that voting, politics and politicians are nonsense and complete scam even to begin with - so they are trying to enforce this to "normalize" voting and legitimize the existance of themselves. If it becomes a policy in my country also I will hide (or play extremely dumb; make it as expensive for them as possible to deal with this). Yeah, tax is theft; it just cannot be justified or explained as a morally correct or good thing. +lnostdal My friend, in politic to day, the party that has the most money to throw around has very high chances to getting majority votes. Money buys power n control . Taxes is ok as it goes to nation building but the percentage has to be reasonable. I am 65 yo, retired n I am free from tax n loans, thank God for the peace of mind as far as money is concerned. Malaysia is a secular country. Islam is the official religion. Both are correct! What's with the big fuss? Why bring up the fact that a Malaysian does not belong to his/her home country? What relevance has this to the whole issue? We are all Malaysians by nationality and therefore we ALL belong in Malaysia. Also, we are all EQUAL in status whether you personally believe your race is "supreme" (i did not specify). It does not matter where our ancestors are from (Chinese from China. Malays from North Thailand, Indians from India, Orang Asli from Malaysia). I hope that is clear. Any objections, dear fellow Malaysians?
Najib: In a recent article published by TIMES, they have listed the top 5 country which was said to be most corrupt. Among the list was Brazil, South Africa, China, Russia and of course, our very own Malaysia truly Asia. Malaysia was listed at the second spot of world corruption, behind Brazil. That's something I am proud of, cos we are not the first spot.

Ini bermaksud ianya satu kemungkinan besar bahawa kes 1MDB audit Najib telah digugurkan. Walaupun satu kes jenayah telah digugur, Najib masih menghadapi tiga lagi kes jenayah (1MDB-Tanore, 1MDB-IPIC dan SRC 2.0) serta 4 lagi saman sivil kerajaan terhadap Najib. Kes laporan audit 1MDB ini adalah sangat pelik sebab Najib didakwa mengarahkan laporan audit dipinda untuk elak dikenakan tindakan demi menyelamatkan diri. Tetapi apa yang didedahkan dalam mahkamah selepas perbicaraan 4 tahun pula ialah: 1. Hanya empat ayat dalam keseluruhan laporan audit dipinda. 2. Keempat-empat pindaan itu adalah sangat minor, tidak signifikan dan tidak memberi apa-apa kesan kepada Najib, seperti apa yang Hakim putuskan. 3. Tiada sebarang bukti bahawa Najib pernah arahkan laporan audit dipinda malah ketua audit negara berkali-kali kata sebelum Najib didakwa dan ketika memberi keterangan dalam mahkamah bahawa Najib tidak pernah arahkan laporan dipinda dan sebarang pindaan tidak memberi impak kepada laporan tersebut. Biarpun itu, Najib juga didakwa dengan kadar amat laju oleh kerajaan Mahathir dan Tommy sebab mereka mahu membina persepsi bahawa Najib bersungguh-sungguh untuk sorok kebenaran sebab dia sangat bersalah dalam kes 1MDB. Itu adalah matlamat mereka. Sebagaimana memo dalaman AGC bagi kes 1MDB-IPIC telah terbocor dan berkata tiada sebarang bukti bahawa Najib telah melakukan kesalahan, saya juga sangat ingin baca memo dalaman mereka bagi kes 1MDB Audit. To be fair ,Despite a short time, Najib has created MRT, Pan Borneo Highway, new ports, High speed rail, TN50, billions of investments, cash handouts, low cost housing, new merdeka tower, East Coast RAIL, subsidized hajj, more funding for chinese sch and indian temples, created 2.2 million jobs, digital free trade zone, 5.6% economy growth, highest tourism numbers, Indian blueprint and many more.. This is despite Malaysia surviving 2 MAS Air Disasters and Air-Asia crash all in one year 2014. plus opposition committing economic sabotage of the country. wHAT has the opposition done to improve the lives of Malaysians apart from instigating the rakyat to hate the govt?

People should understand that a social contract was made in 1957 during Malaysia's independence from the British. It was agreed in 1957 by all race leaders that Malaysia would accept the stateless minorities (mainly Chinese/Indian) to be citizens in exchange for Malaysia to be officially a Muslim country, Malay as official language and Malays will have priority for education and government. This was a big sacrifice. But the younger people do not understand and want to rebel and break this social contract thanks to DAP instigating the Chinese with lies and hatred to hate the Malay-led government. This is wrong. When you make a deal or contract , all of us have to honor it. breaking it will just create racial tensions and problems.
Find me a reference to the term 'social contract' as you have described dating from the 1950s. The term 'social contract' was first used by UMNO politicians in the 1980s AFTER the NEP was introduced in order to justify the discriminatory practise which is convenient for winning Malay votes. It obviously does not stand up to scrutiny. The Indians and Chinese in Malaya may have been stateless before independence. That does not however mean that they were not in a position to claim due rights when the new nation state is formed. Just look at the population figures in the 1950s and ask yourself what would have happened if there had instead been an organised movement for the Chinese and Indians to emigrate en masse. What Malaysia do you think you'd have left with almost half the economically productive population gone following independence? Even today if the millions of foreign workers from Indonesia, China, Bangladesh etc decide to leave en masse because of poor treatment here, what do you think would happen to our economy? And mind you, the Chinese and Indians in Malaya were pioneers who cleared jungles to create plantations and mines, thus creating the new economy around which they later built towns and cities in which they lived. That is the country you have around you today. They were not squatters in Malay kampungs living on charity. And most importantly, what you said has zero relevance to the endemic corruption that is explained in the video, the effects of which your grandchildren will be paying for.

During the recent 15th Parliamentary General Election Dr Mahathir's GTA lost not only seats contested but their cash Deposits for the contests it's basically Dr Mahathir's political manoeuvres towards race based policies of Malaysian Govt led by Tun Razak the 2nd PM beginning 1970 that's being blamed for Endemic Corruption in Malaysian Civil Service.
A lot of bull here, Malaysia is not a moderate Muslim country; and like its neighbour Indonesia, it is very divided, divided by race, religion, and culture. It is too obvious to anyone living there. Yes Najib introduced certain reform that is why 1MDB are borned. He was advised that he can generate income for his political activities without border to search for money. He is happy that once the loan approved for 1MDB, he was given a few billions to spent with the capital not even invested. Because of greed that he keep on withdrawing from this loan, eventually he realised most of the borrowed money are almost gone. He immediately using his authority he approved asset sale from government control to 1MDB at very low price, so hopefully to top up the difference but it is too late the loan need to be service, so FGV, TH, KWAP, GLC all come handy to 1MDB resque. But Najib political expenses is way too high all the above agentcy can not fill up the BIG hole created. The lesson is Politician should leave business to business people.
Yes, mostly malaysian citizen hates what najib had done. But he is still an elder so we hope he would be fine as we respect elder people. But most malaysian citizens including me are glad that he didn't won the election. #loveTun!💕
