@@clarissa.a2221 You know what? It should be like Danganronpa: if we fail on busting out the blackened then we all die and then the impostor wins the game. Like this, these people will play serious and didn't vote randomly... But, the matches will last like
I bet she was low-key impressed by Makoto who was squaring off against her during the 5th trial all by himself. Earlier he needed someone else to guide him, but now he's doing it on his own
He was a pretty interesting character, and he deserved better, leon prolly just tried to defend himself and im pretty glad leon did kill sayaka, if sayaka would kill leon it would have been pretty obvious how everyone would vote for makoto and everybody would have died but sayaka would have graduated
According to the manga, Leon actually killed Sayaka by accident. He apparently only broke down the bathroom door to try comfort her and she tried attacking him.
My friend went all Makoto on my ass in Among Us and I have never felt THAT sympathetic for Leon. Ik he was defending himself and was forced to murder, meaning he was guilty either way of the crime, but,, being called out like that is so painful xD jesus christ Funny thing, she was the imposter. I was telling the truth about seeing her kill in the dark.
actually leon pretty much went out of his way to grab the tool kit from his room to kill Sayaka after she ran into the bathroom, he wasn't forced but decided to kill anyway, he could have walked back to his room, stayed in there, and told everyone about it in the morning without any murder occurring.
@@raddrew42 maybe but then if he didn’t kill her but told everyone what she tried to do, then she could either attempt it again later on or someone else would kill him and then blame it on Sayaka. Either way it’s not a good idea.
@@raddrew42 the thing is that if you put yourselves in his shoes, if you were to be targeted for a murder and you escaped, wouldn't you also be paranoid? And let me tell you, paranoia can cause someone to do things that they normally wouldn't do, so I can't really blame him. I can't blame anyone besides the mastermind and Monokuma, since they're doing this as a sort of entertainment, which has NO excuse.
I think it's really clever that not only was Leon the first one in this trial to suggest that Makoto is the blackened, but that very statement was Leon's first contribution to this case.
Sharing my opinion here. I feel that Leon or Sayaka didn’t deserve to die. Even though they both had their faults, all their actions were done for a reason. Just imagine your in Sayaka’s position for a moment. Your trapped in a school with no way of seeing the outside world. Your friends, family, or everything you loved and worked hard for is outside waiting for you. What Sayaka did wasn’t out of spite, it was out of determination. You can’t tell me that some of you wouldn’t have done the same thing in her position. If you think you wouldn’t, your either insane or have really strong willpower. Like Kyoko said at the end of the trial, Sayaka spent her last moments trying to protect Makoto. Even though she intended to frame him, she did one last selfless act, and that’s what strengthens my opinion that she wasn’t a bad person, only easy to manipulate by Monokuma. Now, we go to Leon. Again, imagine yourself in his position. I won’t deny that he could have stopped what he was doing when Sayaka locked herself in the bathroom. But like her, he also wanted to get out of there I think. There’s no evidence, but I feel like being attacked pushed his mental stability off the edge. And imagine having to die when people found out what you did, in a pure moment of insanity. Their withering faces, glaring at you for not being ‘spotless’, and knowing your about to die. Again, i’m sure all of you would have gone insane in the moment. This is what makes me feel sympathy for him. Im not trying to defend their actions, because they both had faults, just trying to put logic behind them. Thanks for coming to my TED talk :D.
@@mloveagnes92 I watched more of the first game, played the second my self, and watched 3. Glad I decided to actually get into it. I think I like Class 77b more. They have Ibuki.
I really feel bad for Leon. Not only was he an interesting character that had big dreams but he was the type of friend I’ve always wanted back in high school. He killed Sayaka, no doubt about that. But at the end, what else could he have done? Yes, he could have knocked her unconscious and tie her up. But she would find a way to break from her restraints and continue with her plan. Sayaka planned to kill him and pin the blame on Makoto, who was a good friend that she took advantage of. I wouldn’t call his actions as an act of self defense but more like he was stopping her from killing him or anyone else. Plus, he made a valid point to a certain extent: anyone in the class trial would have done the same thing if Sayaka was going to murder one of them. None of this was Leon’s fault. He was just tricked into becoming a victim of a murder scheme that went wrong. Even if he was killed by Sayaka, then SHE would have been the one who received punishment.
You have a point but.. Leon it was his fault it's not really self defense if he went out of he's way to go kill her. He went out of his way to use he's toolbox and get in the bathroom room to kill her. Why would he do that? Couldn't he just leave her in the bathroom? In the class trial they said it was hard to open Naegi's bathroom door.. So he could have just left her there. She would have a hard time opening the door it probably take her hours! Plus doesn't Leon have the advantage to go get a alibi? He could have just ran to somebody's room knock or scream and explained the situation. At least one person or a couple people will believe him.
That was the point of Sayaka's plan to kill him anyways and blame it on Naegi. She might have succeeded anyways because they immediately blamed Naegi. (We all know she isn't going to succeed anyways.)
Leon killed her for a reason, If it was really self defense he would have just left her in the bathroom. Naegi exposed him saying if it was really self defense he would have just left her in the bathroom..
The worst part is that he was probably gonna die if he didnt defend himself too He's my favourite character, and he died so soon i cried at this part of the game, and im not kidding
Damn this game for making the first case the only time in the entire series where EVERYONE but one other character unanimously agrees on who the blackened is with only so much evidence.
on pc, you use the *right* mouse button to hit the tempo marks. when he says stuff like “stupid” and the word pops up on the screen with the purple target mark, you need to hit the *left* mouse button and itll destroy it.
@Soft-baked Subliminals in his “Lyin 2 Me” song, in the rap part a spinning danganronpa background (the red and blue stripes) is in the video’s background
But wouldn't Leon be paranoid and whoever probably does believe him wouldn't he to stay in the room? Makoto would probably catch on because how sus Sayaka was acting. Plus couldn't he just lock his door how can she get in if the girls didn't receive a tool kit but the boys did?
Leon is the victim in all of this, what makes it delightfully worse is the fact Nagasaki actually sympathizes with Sayaka and not Leon. Also, one thing just doesnt make sense to me, and its why did Leon decide to try and break into the bathroom and kill her? he really had no reason to do that given that he was not hurt
He did it because it was a kill or be killed so first off if he just ran away nobody would be killed but if Sayaka used her broken wrist as a reason to frame leon that he tried to kill her? Who would they believe? A good baseball player that tried to "kill" a innocent pop idol or a "Innocent" pop idol? Exactly also even though that may happen Leon was panicked in the heat of the moment you cant think correctly so Leon would be even harder to explain what happened so no matter what if leon gets voted and he was actually innocent everybody would die expect tor sayaka so no way
@@samuelfernandesoliveira if he runs away as you said than he didnt try to kill her the evidence being her still yapping her lips. further more we assume no one will question her claims either never mind the letter which leon would have probably showed to everyone to clear his name
Ima just say this: This was actually both leon and sayaka’s fault. They both caused each other’s deaths. Sayaka invited leon to her room,so she can kill him. But,it backfired when leon used “self-defense” and instead of running away,he killed her and left evidence. He couldve just done something like tying her up or knocking her unconscious, but he just killer her.Even though he panicked,he could’ve calmed down and thought for a moment, before sparing sayaka and leaving her alone. But,if sayaka had enough strength to stab him in back, she would’ve been at fault but,she caused her own death for trying to kill leon. She should’ve knew leon was gonna kill her if he tried to kill him,but it was too late. So,it was actually both of them fault
He should've just ran out after he had broken her wrist and then stay in his room until the day, when everyone meets up Sayaka would obviously tell everyone that he attacked her. But he would have said that she bribed him in there and tried killing him and the group would find Sayaka suspicious And then they'd both be alive (for now)
Can you really blame him tho, Monokuma killed everyone’s family, it would make sense for anyone to want to get out of there and maybe mourn them. He thought he had the perfect chance to “graduate”, not knowing the class trial was a thing. Right?
The difficulty is what you do next. Say Sayaka runs into the bathroom and Leon leaves. I hate to say it, but as a young woman, it wouldn’t be hard for Sayaka to craft a narrative that Leon tried to kill a defenceless girl and failed. It would be Leon’s vs Sayaka’s story, and Sayaka’s broken hand and Makoto backing her up that the door handle gets stuck would have added to her side. Ultimately, even if everyone did believe Leon, What could you do? Imprison him? Kill him and then either have the killer die, or everybody die?
Ya’ll stop, he’s just a minor teenager, it was the heat of the moment, rage over took him, I mean, he probably can’t decide wether to kill or leave someone who had tried to kill you in a killing game. I mean he felt betrayed since he trusted Sayaka that’s why he did it, but yeah, it wasn’t self defense, also why do people keep arguing about Leon’s trial when the other culprits had done worst.
The fact that it took 13 people with Ultimate Talents TWO HOURS to solve this crime WHEN SAYAKA LITERALLY SPELLED HER KILLERS NAME ON THE WALL is just DUMB. What kinda idiot looks at the name LEON upside down and thinks 11037?!
