Hi Guys, Dumelang!
Thank you for watching this video!
For lesson planning the main 2 sites that we use and support one another on as Native English teachers are:
korshare.jcink.net
www.waygook.org - I don't use this one as you need to pay a membership fee
There are many other resources on the internet to use, just type in your lesson topic or ESL games/activities/worksheets for ideas.
Other sites I use often for teaching resources are:
en.islcollective.com
games4esl.com
Happy lesson planning and all the best with your first day of teaching English as well as that first week! Don't be too hard on yourself, be patient!
If you too would like to teach English as a second language and do not have your TEFl qualification yet, please follow this link to start the course and get certified through International Open Academy:

I have been planning to go to South Korea since 2017, but YOH, life kept throwing obstacles. I feel like now I can prioritise my goals and ideal experiences. I watched MANY videos on EPIK, and South Africans, Muslims and skin of colour females in SK for years, and I must say, your videos are some of my favourites. That shirt though - looks super cute!! Thanks for the constant updates and realism. Love your energy, reminds me of mine in class, hope I MAKE it and can translate that energy in SK too. I adore that you did some type of recognition of prior learning to see where they're at as well. Keep at it!

Thank you ❤️ I’m so glad that you found them helpful! I can relate, I’ve been thinking about this move in 2019 but finally got it right this year😋 You got this!! You’ve already done the research. can’t remember how many videos I watched but they definitely helped! All the best with your application and the journey to getting here! 🌸 Are you currently a teacher ?

Informative as always ausi. That part is important as it is not only an Ice breaker but also as they say, 'First Impressions...' We live in times of social media, which can make or break environments we live in etc and I've always had to sometimes veer from the main lesson with my students online and enlighten them about where I come from, vice-versa, e.g. I have students from Ukraine who marvelled at me wearing jackets after I told them it was winter in this country...

True! First impressions are so important! Its the reason I learnt how to introduce myself in their language 😋. You also teach students from the Ukraine! That’s is so cool!! I’m sure you learn a lot about Ukraine from your students! Apart from the teaching I enjoy learning about Korea and her people through my students.

Hi Robert! Glad you found the videos helpful. Start by deciding which country you want to teach in and then look at the requirements to teach, if you meet those then start researching how to apply 😋

It's a conspiracy the way you post these videos...you stay hitting the mark! How hectic was the medical test. It's the most anxiety provoking part of the epik post landing.
@AnnahPokubye
@AnnahPokubye Год назад
Just keeping tabs on you guys! 😋😉 trust me you have no reason to be nervous, epik is not going to send you packing. ❤️ It was a breeze going through the the tests (height, weight, eye sight, etc ) unless your not comfortable with needles that can be a worry 🤷🏾‍♀️
