Hey Renno glad you getting used to the new assignment. Change can be good now and then. I couldn't stand doing the same line every day. I worked what we called the extra board, every day is a different route. Your videos are getting better since you seemed more relaxed. Keep it up... CHEERS
Hey Renno, I was out for the first day of the 276 under Stagecoach. The driver we had got lost in Stoke Newington (which led to passengers getting annoyed) and he also served the wrong stop at Hackney Central. The first day was quite hectic with all the curtailments (but the football traffic didn’t help either). I’m gonna be honest, I love those old E200s that came from the D3 🤣
14:07 they also have the trainer versions of them which used to be demonstrators and they have beautiful interior. The bus model name is called Wright Streetlite btw
I think the buses of 2000 though are louder and rickety but sound more interesting as well. I would think Stagecoach would be ordering new buses for this route.
Another great video Renno, Stoke Newington bus stand has not changed, back in the day the 73 Routemaster buses lined both sides of the road, a distant memory
So glad you got the baptism of fire when you joined because like you said, it makes every other route alot easier to master. The scenery is great on this route, you don't always get a load of trees, grass and fresh air places in London anymore. Do you ever get scared when you're parked up in certain areas similar to this? I mean, it a couple weeks its gonna be pitch black, not alot of people around late at night, sitting on a bus by yourself surrounded by trees in a dark park area. I mean, no one is gonna hear that scream mate. Oh, the night before, prepare a quick snack because you are gonna put on some bad weight man, and believe me, its not easy to get that fat off especially when you're driving all day.
No I'm not afraid really🤣, there are other bus drivers around , there's a row of houses on that street and there's someone I can call in an emergency. "No one's gonna hear that scream mate"🤣🤣🤣 and yeah there's limited food options on this route unlike the 97 or 277 that I did before there was more food options
A Ferry to Hackney Wick ! You're spoilt lol :D when I was at LI we had to get a bus to Stratford then the DLR to Bow Church, they gave us 50 mins on the duty card though. At least you have nice ferry's though, At Crapital Shittybus the ferries were old ford transit bread vans with bus seats screwed to the floor in the back. That is, the parts of the floor that didn't have giant rust holes in, they got so bad that the drivers were refusing to drive them because they were so dangerous!

Yeah I would've been. It's awkward and embarrassing when you get lost🤣. The bus is super slow and heavy. Were they diff models? I thought they were the same lol. If I had to choose I'd say the first was more comfortable
@@RennoHundred Yes, the first one was a 2009 one but the second one was transferred from Barking Garage (formerly used on 366) and was a 2011 enviro 200. You could tell because of the engine sounds.
Nice bro I like the changes, 276 is due to get electric Volvo BZL Electric single deckers, so be tuned for those they will come soon haven't been delivered yet but electrics bus order keep getting delayed Once those buses come these buses will be going unfortunately, I can see some of these becoming scrapped

Please show us that and see if it has its TFL stuff in tact, and if it actually has its Diesel stickers like all other buses now
@@RennoHundredI got on that very bus myself, but essentially was like around 25 scanias parked up, more or less. All after the loss of route 248 to Arriva 🤮. This Scania and 2 more survived but now latest news says 15005 is ‘disposal’.
I remember last year a route 276 bus under Go Ahead almost went straight when approaching Homerton Hospital instead of turning left. It had to reverse.
Nice video again, those other single decker bus in that garage we call them street lites there so heavy to drive and in the summer it's the worst bus I ever driven there is no air at all

Also how comes 276's were stopping at hackney town hall today? And will you ever drive the 55/ be moved to leyton stagecoach garage?

Walking over the bridge at the beginning is filmed the reverse way round, garage should be on your left, got me confused but guessing there's some technical reason....another enjoyable video though, cheers.
I think the cutrailment stuff due to new company was similar to the w19 i remember the bus i was on got cutrailed so i had to jump on the bus right behind and all w19 were in pairs like u said

What happened at leyton? It's ok I guess but I'd like to do other routes. It's good that 276 has changed it allows stagecoach drivers to do other routes. I'm glad you enjoy the vids tho, thank you!
Is it just stagecoach that won’t allow you to record while you’re driving or is it also other bus companies like arriva and go ahead. If there are companies that do let you record POVs can you move to one of them❤
They all don't allow it unfortunately. It's annoying because I really did want to do it. The only way I would really be able to is if I was with agency.
Because the service is new, drivers are new, everything is new. Drivers were late because some got lost etc So there was hiccups. But with time there won't be as much curtailments.
@@RennoHundred yeah, usually these new electric buses are delayed. It is getting BZLs, which aren't even in service yet, so like the Electroliners or ie Trams, they would probably be delayed by a year or two
