👋 rental/housing availability is horrendous at the moment Australia wide, but particularly bad in Melbourne and Sydney. My granddaughter and her friend are renting in an inner western suburb which suited them both as my granddaughter is at Melbourne Uni and her friend was at the Veterinary College in Werribee. Now that her friend has graduated and is working in the Yarra Valley they are trying to find a new rental back in the outer Eastern suburbs and haven’t had any luck in over four months of looking. An agent told them the issue has been caused by the 400,000 migrants that have been accepted since the end of Covid and the return of overseas students and because so many properties were taken off rental lists and converted to Airbnb. I hope you find something soon if not already. It’s easier to be optimistic when the weather is sunny and warm so I hope the coming winter weather doesn’t get you down. Take care.
Have you made any friends yet in Victoria. You look so lonely. Maybe you should join some sort of club. Yoga, Tai Chi or have a look at Meetup, I think its for young adults to find people with similar interests. You need more than just studies to sustain your well being. Maybe if you get time, you could go to Sydney for a weekend or something . 48 hours in the sun n fun of Sydney is good for anyone's soul. Oh i hope you find accom soon, i know it must be a worry and annoying. My nephew finally found accom and maybe soon he has to move out as the owner might be selling. 🤦🏼♀️ My daughter and her family have to move in June so they too are busily looking.
