Wonderful to see a brilliant Brazilian violinist won this prestigious award ! Looking forward to see his career across the world’s music halls, much like Martha Argerich and Daniel Barenboim from the same Continent - but that was a while ago from which we were all blessed by the music they brought to life and to us! Bravo !!

Na música e em algumas outras artes fenômenos aqui chegam com missão específica de completar, e ainda jovens retornam a esse lugar enigmático, porque sua função foi satisfatoriamente cumprida!...Esperamos não seja este o caso, pois o mundo musical merece vê-lo e ouvi-lo sem limite de tempo... Nascido na periferia de São Paulo, morador de Parelheiros, Guido iniciou seus estudos de violino aos 5 anos de idade, tocando seu primeiro solo com orquestra aos 7. Aos 8, foi finalista do programa Prelúdio da TV Cultura. Em 2018, foi finalista da Menuhin Competition, além de ingressar no The Perlman Music Program. Em 2021, venceu o Concurso Jovens Solistas da Osesp.

What is with the squeaking? Does anyone hear this? I'm surprised no one commented about this. Did he not have enough rosin on his bow? What's going on. Once, okay, but I'm hearing it over and over again. Look, he already won, and no one is questioning his talent. It's clear as day he's a superstar, but the squeaking is making me go ... what is going on?
the E string is making the ghost tone not a squeak more like a hiss an unwanted overtone or harmonic sound made by the angle of attack might need a new E string or different E string
This is a common problem. It happens on the open E string and it often comes when low bow pressure is used usually combined with a shallow angle between bow and string. Augustin Hadelich has a RU-vid video talking about this and showing that even top soloists have this problem
