Hi everyone :) Here's a video of Brayan and I giving a bit of an insight on our lives of working different schedules. Comment down below and share your work experiences and what shift you dislike the most :P.
I work either 7am-3pm or 9am-5pm, and as much as I hate the 9-5 because of where the shift falls in the day, the work that I do doesnt bother me and the customers that I get are really nice that I dont mind the hours, but If I was offered a better paying job that consisted of only working early mornings with a higher pay, I would definitley take it. I'm a morning🌞 person and I'm active and awake 4am/5am so it would be convenient. But my boyfriend works 3pm-10pm, that I now have to adjust my schedule to work the same shifts since we only have one car and transportation is a big problem until we can get another car. I work at 7am and get off at 3pm and he starts at 3pm and gets off at 10pm so that's a whole 15 hours where we dont see each other :/ but he just recently got his job and I like my job so theres not much to change except my schedule :( IM NOT A NIGHT PERSON 🌚😭😭
That sucks, Brayan and I used to have completely opposite schedules too, that's why I tried so hard to get a job at Disney with this time so we can have the same schedules. But yea its tough when you don't see each other bc THAT'S WHY YOU'RE TOGETHER😭. But I do hope that you guys get to somehow figure something out so you guys can spend more time together💏 lol
If you have to then there's no alternative I say. Nothing has to be permanent and as long as the time you two spend together is intentional, then spending less time together shouldn't be an issue. Sometimes we do things to get out of a momentary problem while we find a more long term solution.
