A walk around the Duel Movie Truck at Brad Wikes Southen Classic Truck Show..Duel's driving scenes inspired some of the driving scenes from the original Jeepers Creepers movie..
im massive fan of the movie too, and i love this truck and thanks for the upload. but as a fan i got to say the cab body colouring and trailer also really is not matching the original duel truck colouring, its quite a way off colour. frount wheel arches colouring looks very close thow. the red and black top side can in frount of drivers door is spot on match.
Hard to believe both of these trucks survived. Great you got them both together. We need a movie of both these trucks together where the good guys are chasing the bad guys and they’re scared shitless with these trucks chasing them Maybe the bad guy could be driving electric vehicles and their batteries are starting to go low
Two great movies! The first Jeepers Creepers in particular was a truly bent and scary movie. This is a rare pairing for both screen used [so rare]. Love you have the valiant there lol. Dennis Weaver was so good in that flick [looked appropriately terrified.
Absolutely amazing! Love the Peterbilt 351 from Duel! What will be cool if you guys can get your hands on a 1970s White Western Star 4800 with a old 48' drybox trailer, a giant green goblin mask and remake the Maximum Overdrive Green Goblin/ Happy Toyz Truck.
We actually have one! From where the picture is taken its was sitting directly behind me.. the plan is to put A Goblin face on it.. and we might be using the Screen Used Goblin head.. we are still looking into everything..
That truck from maximum overdrive is sooooo iconic!!! I absolutely love that movie. I think I will watch it this weekend with the family. My kids have never seen it before. Great movie!!
I know where a truck like this is at but don’t know if the guy would sell. If he would and I had the money I’d buy it and make a Duel tribute truck. My all time favorite movie semi!
Back when The Duel movie came out, the other kind of semis "cabovers" were real common here in the USA. There was a mix of cabovers & conventional cabs around. Of course that was back when the length limit was shorter. Nowadays the only cabovers I see around are fire trucks, garbage trucks, yard trucks, & small non semi trucks like those Isuzus.
Some still use cabovers for the visibility and turning radius advantages but other than that conventional trucks are far safer and far more comfortable
The Peterbilt 281 had up to 350 HP, The Valiant in the movie was the grocery getter version at 105 HP I absolutely believe the truck could be faster. For years I was always like "no way!" But today I did trhe research before I saw your comment so I thought I'd share my findings.

As in the Movie The Car? I believe some one has the Vehicle and it is being restored.. look on RU-vid.. I believe I seen a video on it.. and if your talking about the Red Plymouth Valent from Duel , the original went off the Cliff with the Other Screen Used Movie Truck....
IIRC that was only on the scenes where it would hit the car, most likely used 2 trucks, one for pushing, one for the hero. Not sure though, but yeah, I googled it, and not all scenes have the reinforced front bumper
Boom Blasters Makes a nice one... I run two on the Creeper Truck for shows.. the prototype isn't ready yet.. and it probably won't be for sale for a while..
It's a 1941 Chevrolet COE one of 3 that were built for the Original Jeepers Creepers Movie.. mine is Truck #2 it's the one you can see when the Creeper puts the Police man's body and head into the back of it after he bit the tounge out of it..
