Kolkata's metro system plans to begin commercial services between Dum Dum Cantonment and Noapara stations along the Noapara-Bimanbandar stretch by March. The 3 km stretch is the first part of the Noapara-airport section. A Trial run has been conducted successfully between noapara to cantonment station.
