Helen Slater did the same thing. She played Supergirl in the self-titled film, then she played Clark's kryptonian mom on Smallville, and now she plays Kara's foster mom on the Supergirl TV show.
When I first saw Man of Steel and Batman v Superman dawn of Justice I couldn't help but notice how many actors of those two movies were featured on Smallville originally. Amy Adams of course was the most obvious but if you watch Smallville and Man of Steel and Batman v Superman you'll know what I'm talking about. I mean Zack Snyder had to have known what he was doing in casting the certain roles. He must have done it to appeal to the Smallville fans
She's also not the only one who plays a role in multiple DC showings. Michael Rosenbaum, who plays Lex in Smallville, also is the voice actor for the Flash in Justice League and Justice League Unlimited.
Now we can add another. Tom Hardy as Bane in Nolan's Dark Knight films, and Rick Flag in the DC Cinematic Universe. (Before Joel Kinnaman took over, this comment was before that happened)
Amy Adams was the perfect choice to play Lana Lang on Smallville: almost natural redhead, INCREDIBLE actress, very beautiful with a sweet personality. Maybe then the producers wouldn't have been obsessed with Lana to the point of ruining the story and the characters. She would have left the show after graduation parting with Clark as good friends who have realized that they are not suited for each other. Perfect high school romance.
A natural redhead? She's blonde. Nowhere near red. She dyes it red to stand out from all the other blondes. And I honestly don't think she would have made a great Lana tbh. I think she's pretty and I like the actress, but I didn't even like her version of Lois Lane tbh. Good actress though.
@@daniellelawman9724 I said "almost" natural. She is a strawberry blonde, very close to a redhead, look up her school photos. Let's just agree to disagree, I think she would have made a fantastic Lana, she has charisma.
The "Hi guys, what's up?" kills me every time - it's such a little thing but she delivered it so well like she's trying to sound like she's totally fine and she is absolutely not! Also hate how these two just stare at her and make her leave, let the poor girl eat!
“Gee, first a deer is completely drained of its body fat. Then another kid lost all of HIS fat. What could be causing-oh, hi, girl who was very fat two days ago, is now stick thin, and seems to be eating nonstop! Anyway, this is a real mystery.” :p
Crazy woman, all that food and spent most of the scene chewing and staring. lol Look at all those chips and the big burger she left behind, you ain't that hungry sweet heart.

Comeback here after Justice League, she doesn't age at all.
It's funny because Craving was hated by most of the Smallville fanbase for years. It was often referred to as one of the worst eps of the whole show. But now it's the "Amy Adams episode" hailed as a testament to how great she always was. 🤣 On Talkville, Tom/Mike went on and on about how even then you could tell she was special.
