This video is absolutely essential if you buy one of these temperature controller modules. I haven’t found anywhere else that explains it this well.

ordered one thinking, how hard it could be setting this up, but then the item came and the instruction was i think written by the an ancient technician organization that it will make you think if you do understand symbols. thanks to you, i found this video been searching for this for quite sometime, was about to throw the item away if i couldn't make it work. please continue doing tutorial vids! appreciate this very much.

If you change both capacitors and the inductor the device can run on 24 volt too, I have mine modified.

14:40 It's not exactly that. Long press (While power off) +"power on" to set if the min voltage is always put out to the FAN or if it works as a Gate (for silent operation). While powered on, 1 click increases Min output Voltage by 5°c, dble click decrease the min voltage output by 5°c. While powered on "1st Long press" for slow blink gives the minimum temperature for ramping up (threshold temperature) again 1 click = 5°c inc. dbleclick = -5°c. Then "2nd Long press" fast blinking, to set the temperature range from min to max output V.

Hello. I wanted to know if this device could be connected to a 12v 2-pin fan. And another thing, I want to use it so that the fan starts when the temperature rises below a certain value, and stops when the temperature drops below a certain value. Can that be done with this device? Thank you.

hi, thx for detailed video. But I have some questions, I hope you can answer. I have a large 40w pwm fan. It is variable speed controlled by using a 3pin wire lead, to a control box with a potentiometer. But I want to automate this speed controller. Could I simply remove my control box and wire the ZHIYU 1X3L to the 3 pin wire lead? Also how could I change the temp probe to be more sensitive? I need the temp range to start at 10 Celsius.Kind regards!

I cannot see how to reset the module. It's stuck with lights 2 and 3 on.

Is the lowest power setting off or is it just very low voltage. I need it to be off for my application.

Awesome video. Really helpful. Do you know what type of temperature sensor is that? Is it a 10k or 1k? I want to use it with a custom water cooler. The water temperature sensor is a 10k. That means that at room temperature (25 degrees) the typical resistance is 10k ohms.

Thanks for the very clear explanation! I love the way you did this video. I have bought a few nice PWM fans together with a PWM temperature controller (also from Ali) to cool my AV stuff (amp / BluRay etc) but unfortunately this controller is unable to shut down the fans ... they always run at a minimum duty cycle of 20%. Do you (or anyone else) know a PWM controller that is able to shut the fans of? Otherwise this board you explained is a very good candidate for my purpose. Again thank you very much for your clear explanation.

A module I've come across has 3 pin for input and 3 pin for output. A 3 pin fan is connected at the output. If I connect only +ve and -ve at input, can the fan speed still be controlled ?

Will I need two of these boards if I want to control 2 fans at the same time with the same settings (1 exhaust, 1 intake) or can I just use one board and use fansplitter cable?I'm just not very knowledgeable about currents and voltages unfortunately.

seems 1X4L the hidden menu seems to make it work in reverse; as the temp sensor gets colder the fan goes faster:S.... not sure about having it stop completely

I brought two pcs of the controllers, come without usermanual. I want the table for more undetstanding.
