Actually the retention is really low, so there won't be lots of leftover grinds within the grinder. I usually clean it every month. If you grind darker roasted beans, I recommend cleaning it more frequently.

Can we remove the bottom of burr set for K-Plus? I tried to twist. But doesn't seem to work

Please check 1:24 in the video. Are you referring to that burr set? If so, you need to twist it clockwise; it's pretty tight. I don't usually remove it every time I clean the burr.

@@brewcoffeehome Yea, you are right. I was trying to indicate lower burr ring. But mind was extremely tight so i am not sure if is tight or it can't be removed for a K-Plus model. Hence i didnt try further, worried that I might spoil it.

why not just soak it in water? doesnt seem like dry brushing or paper towels will remove everything.

The metal parts may rust if soaked in water, and they're hard to dry thoroughly. I just need to clear out the grinds and wipe off the coffee oils. :)
