Their voices definitely need to get a singing lesson, but it really wasn't that bad. Nerves certainly made it a little difficult for them to perform, but the girls have room to improve
@@hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh-k3h AGREED. Entirely, they does need more practice about their presence stage, that's all. Because tbh, they are WAY better than the girl who sang Snapping (and I don't understand how everyone sees this girl as a girl who is ready to debut, her singing skills were not perfect and were mostly cringey, but her presence -with the help of SNAPPING which is a great song to embody, it gives power to anyone- made the performance more enjoyable). So at the end, here, I can say these girls are good singers but they need to practice their performance (maybe the girl who sang Shuhua LATATA needs more dance practice too)
@@darukona7218 yeah nah… maybe you just don’t know what live vocals sound like but ms. snapping did a nice job. “cringey” doesn’t mean she doesn’t have singing ability lmao, especially when snapping is infinitely harder than la ta ta.
@@horizonkyun7203 yes, I know. I said cringey because the vocals were not as good BUT I know Snapping is waaaay harder to sing, so props to her for singing it live ALONE + having a great stage presence which is important too.
I think Arateke is quite good, she sang clearly but cannot deny that team's dance skill and stage presence is not good. They are young and they will improve themselves, please support these girls ❤🥺
I think Latata is considered as an easy song and choreography but it’s very very hard to be charismatic and sing soulfully like the original singers. But I’m happy to see them singing this song
@@pristineclarity29 g idle's songs are considered hard not because they have lots of high notes or hard choreos, but because soyeon made the songs just exactly to fit the members' vocal colors. So, if others want to sound good while covering idle songs, then they gotta have the same vocal range as the idle members lol.
As a Neverland, it makes me so happy seeing people cover songs written by Soyeon. She literally went from being an unpopular trainee on Produce 101 who constantly got hated on because of how "ugly" she was, to being known as one of the best singwriter/producer idol in K-pop. And it's so nice seeing young girls these days sing the songs she wrote and look up to her as their inspiration🥺❤️
@@jamq7217 did that mean anything though? PD101 season 1 wasn't as popular as the next seasons because it was still a new concept. Even if Soyeon made it to the finals, her popularity after the show basically became nonexistent. (G)I-dle didn't even sell 500 copies of their debut album on their first day. Her making it in the finals made no difference in her popularity at all (plus, she was literally rank 20. She placed last on the final episode)
So no one here is gonna talk about how they were more on pitch than most group who've passed since the first episode? I don't know the original song, but these girl who were at the bottom rank of the J group delivered a solid performance with a song that suited them and carried with their vocals! I'm surprised at how good they were, their voices aren't perfect but their control while singing was 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 I'm shocked and I wanna congratulate the girls who did amazing. If lack in something it would be charisma, or facial expressions... Looking like it's fun and easy. They look tense with serious faces but that actually made their performance work better than if they didn't put that energy into the singing. If I went to see them perform I'd rather see them be tense than messing up while trying to do something out of their control. I really liked this performance. Good luck girls!!
Kyara is quite a good vocalist, I can imagine that Minnie's parts must be difficult but it sounded good? I'm surprised she was number 32, her voice is nice!
It is ok. There are a lot room improvement for them. (G)I-dle itself were nervous when debut and made some mistakes, even Shuhua said their perfomance at debut was regretable 😂.
They lack stage presence but seriously I'm shocked. I didn't expect them to be this good despite their ranking. They did great and have the potential. They can improve
Their singing was better than even some of the other groups who were TOP9 candidates in my opinion. The only thing they are lacking in is dancing and stage presence as many other have stated. They have potential for sure.
Honestly compared to a lot of the other trainees, they’re very stable and sound good. The only lacking was mainly energy in their dancing that the others had.
I was really hoping when they covered the song to do their own vocal tone, like the girl who did Minnie's part in 0:25 was trying to copy Minnie's cadence and Minnie's voice is so... weird but in a GOOD way that it really isn't easy to replicate. They did well, though! Vocals were a bit shaky and they were nervous but I'm excited to see them grow. :)
i honestly feel like this is what a lot of kpop idols sound like live 😭 expect these girls aren’t lip-syncing and don’t have a loud ass backtrack to cover it up
@etvow wtf are you on LMAO so mad and for whatttt?? i’m guessing i hit a soft spot since you know i’m right. i’m not some dumbass delusional fan who can’t accept the fact that not all kpop groups sound great live 💀 it’s literally common sense
Shima Moka has nice expressions, I think she could grow to become a very nice performer with the right training! Aratake Rinka looks suuper young though wow
You know when you watch someone and you just see potential in them, that's what I feel with these girls like if they continue taking lessons they could be good next year.
its hard to cover idle songs, cuz soyeon writes them to match with the members voice etc, but they did a really good job (in my opinion). and as a neverland its really good to see, that so many trainee sing gidle songs.
Honestly not bad, daresay even better than expected. Hard to match the debut song of IDLE, but it's legit a GOOD job. I think what they need to work on the most is stage presence. Bigger movements, use more of the stage as well. Just need the confidence. :)
Their vocals are decent, actually quite good compared to other preformences… I’m just worried about their dance, a lot of it was under danced and had no energy, idk how I feel.
