@@kyon-kyon71 your reasoning is flawed, from a business perspective you want to have 2 high priority banners at the same time to force f2p to start spending and force low spenders to spend more because they don't have as much time to save.

@@darkgrundi9543 But, on another business perspective, running them on consecutive patches would ensure that there is a staple supply of express supply and nameless honor revenue. If the wanted characters are in one phase, then they’ll stop buying these supplies. Prolonging the release of a wanted character makes an illusion that the express supply is cheaper but if u accumulate the total spent, it will skyrocket. If you release tempting characters while edging the wanted characters, then the players will lose some Jades since their business model is Gacha, it’s natural that the players would risk getting a tempting character while providing them an illusion of choice that they can still save up for their most wanted character. But if the wanted characters got released all in one go, then sure the revenue will be on high on that 1 phase. But for a business, to be sustainable, they need to entice players with new units that are tempting while also holding the character they want to ensure a stable source of revenue. Businesses aren’t always about making the highest sales in one go, it can also be about sustainability. What happens if all the following banner didn’t get as much as revenue as they’d projected, they won’t have enough to pay salaries and might reallocate the budget. But if they have a stable source of Revenue (from Express supply and Nameless Honor which requires daily accumulation) then they can continue to operate. There will always be whales that will spend so much on that wanted character but there are no F2Ps that can become Whales overnight. Not everyone are willing to pay that much money for Character in the game if you’re already an F2p in the beginning. But what they can do is create dolphins instead. Not everyone has the capacity to become whales but Dolphins will be more feasible. Prolonging a characters release is a breeding ground for Dolphins. See, that’s smarter. F2Ps can’t be whales if they don’t have the money to spend. But a cheaper method is more feasible thus revoking their F2P status. Whales will always exist in the community they can spend all they want be it in a single patch or consecutive patch but that won’t bring as much as revenue unlike enticing both Whales and Dolphins. As such there is business strategy in prolonging wanted characters than simply making the highest sale

In the same vein, we just had Silver Wolf > Kafka > Black Swan > Acheron from 1.5 to 2.1, all Nihility characters but all who fill different niches, making it entirely reasonable for someone to pull for all four (in fact, i know people who did exactly that). On the contrary, I'd argue it would be strange for them to release and rerun so many Break-based characters back-to-back without bringing back the premiere Break support. also, there were no harmony chars in 2.1

Sometimes they kinda have a theme (like Xueyi and March being on the Robin/Topaz rerun banner for Follow-Up Attacks), but I definitely see what you mean about there not really being a schedule.

Acheron was a really good banner actually, both pela and galagher were good with acheron

True, they do tend to pair a support with a damage dealer. My thought was that Huohuo would rerun again, and then probably Ruan Mei. Plus, there hasn't been any info about new 4* characters (hoping Screwlum will either be a new 4* OR that we'll get him later on as a 5*).

I think instead on HuoHuo it'll be Argenti. My reasoning is because Jade works like a beast with Argenti. Run them on the same team with a buffer and Sustain and you're pretty much set.

It’s definitely not too early. Luka just ran with Aventurine and he’ll be running again with Boothill. Additionally, Gallagher has way more synergy with Sam than Natasha does, seeing as how both Sam and Gallagher are focused on fire break. Gallagher also increases the team’s break effect, which would not only buff Firefly but also Ruan Mei and Harmony Trailblazer, and with HTB on the team, he’ll be doing crazy amounts of break dmg too. I would go as far as to say Gallagher might be Samfly’s best sustain (from a dmg and synergy perspective) whereas Natasha would be one of the worst lol

Hoping for Gallagher, everything about him being on her banner makes sense but asta could easily snipe the spot 😢

Same. I was lucky to get E6 Yukong in 1.3. The last Eidolon even came from standard banner. She's always in my E2S1 IL team besides Sparkle

I don't forsee it being a Year before we See Triple Banners in HSR cuz Double Banners started so much Earlier then they did in Genshin. I think they'll copy the time-frame of the 1.4 to 1.6 Period (Where they transferred over to single banner to Double banner) and Transfer single rerun to 1 double rerun in 2.4 and full Double reruns right at the end of the 2.x patches.

That would make sense, having Luka apply bleed effects after Boothill breaks an enemy that doesn't usually have physical weakness could be quite useful when dealing with an extremely tough single boss.

i only have e1 pela. she keeps running on banners i don't care about 😭

Tingyun and Misha are the only 4 stars I don't have and my pela is e6 😭

If so it'll probably be in the 2nd half. Or atleast I hope so. I'll be pulling for Boothill myself. I think it would be odd to have her so soon. In my opinion I feel Huo Huo will get a rerun before she does simply bc of the lack of support and sustain for 2.3

My speculation is: 2.2 topaz and fu xuan 2.3 ruen mei and huo huo 2.4 argenti and dr ratio

Depends on the build, I'm not sure which build performed better until next week at least (after several beta changes). Also 3rd sustain isn't needed, it's luxury pull, pull if you're a spender at least (can afford pull most of character banner).

3rd sustain i mean limited, so between luocha, fuxuan, hwehwe, aventurine at max you only need 2. Not to count if you have well build gepard, or lyx, especially gallagher you only need 1 another limited sustain.
