So, so happy to be able to support your learning!! Hope that you will continue to find helpful content on my channel. And good luck in your calculus class this semester!
@@jacobabramson2090 This makes my heart so full! Undoubtedly, it's your resourcefulness and the extra time & effort you put into studying the material, but I'm beyond happy to have been able to be a part of your success. Keep up the awesome work!
I got confused while watching the 2.5 topic video but then I realized the video for topic 2.5 in the book is this one (2.4 - continuity). Overall, I've got so much help from your videos! Thanks for posting them and explaining them excellently. :)
...Good day Miss Stacey, I had just a brief question for you at about time 16:19. Do you know any other way besides the conjugate method to solve the limit(x->1)((1-SQRT(x))/1-x)? If you have the time, I'm looking forward to your answer! Thank you for your clear presentation on Continuity... Take care, Jan-W
I'm not sure if it's any simpler, but you could recognize that the denominator could be factored: 1-x = (1-sqrt(x)) (1+sqrt(x)). Then, the 1-sqrt(x) from the numerator would cross out with 1-sqrt(x) from the numerator. And you'd be left with 1/[1-sqrt(x)]. Hoping that is helpful.
@@StaceyRoshan ...Good day to you Miss Stacey, I really appreciate that you took the time to answer my question about the limit. I have posed this question about this type of limit so many times to friends and acquaintances here in Holland who are somehow related to math (even math teachers), and to my great surprise none of them answered my question with the same solution like yours, and me constantly hoping someone would come up with this same solution. Finally I've found someone, and that's you Miss Stacey! I remember very well being in high school when I had to deal with limits, suddenly seeing this alternative method of solving unfold in my head, while it was not found in any math textbook at that time. I still remember the frozen reaction of my then math teacher, and gave me a big compliment for the first time (lol). Please don't start thinking I'm so great at math, but I've learned from certain teachers to remain inquisitive, and so always to keep looking/searching for alternative methods of solving; you never know what you will encounter! Miss Stacey, thank you for ending my wait for this particular answer, and also thanking you again for your sincere cooperation... Have a nice day, Jan-W
I'm so glad to be able to help! I hope your class is going well this year, and I hope you can continue to find helpful content on my channel :) Good luck in all your school work!
