Questions: If the answer is 0 we counted as doesn't exist? Or.. Can you plug in 0 on the equation for the Questions that have a given values for limits, or we also counted as doesn't exist?
When we have a limit of the form 0/0, it is of indeterminate form and pretty much we have to do something else to try to evaluate (ie: example 1 where I factor; there’s another method called l’hopitals that I explain in chapter 4 but you need to know about derivatives first). If our limit is a finite number over 0 (ie: 5/0), we can say the limit does not exist because it means that we are going off to either positive or negative infinity as x approaches that number. I wish I had another video explaining this a bit better. It’s something I usually break down in the classroom when we can discuss things…
@@StaceyRoshan do this cover everything form stewart calculus? I am loving this because I didn't understand this from my text book and I paid thousands of dollars to university to mess up things for me but I cleared all the things from your video Professor/Dr Stacey 😭🥰
@@saikatghosh8072 All of my videos align with the Stewart text but I only cover the sections that are required for AP Calculus AB since that is what I teach. Hopefully you can more easily find what you need in the playlists where I have videos organized by chapter!
