The layout is terrible. Why don't the housing company employ a capable architect/designer.I've worked in construction for 30 years and built entire housing estates, been involved in a hydro-dam in Malaysia, the new metro in Qatar and a lot of other projects. How is a kitchen without a sink, cooking surface and oven acceptable in a newbuild project? Nuts!!!!!!
These homes are just cookie cutter hotel room Condos on the ground. The sinks installed should all be under mount for ease of cleaning. The fact you are living on top of each other is annoying. Just horrible. No reason not to have western style electric cook tops of even GAS cook tops. What sells homes are Kitchens and bathrooms. The kitchen should have lots of storage and counter space. I get it it's cheaper to eat out but sometimes you just want to cook.
Agree 100%. They throw in a cheap counter top from IKEA, put a $60 microwave from Walmart on the counter top and I guess that qualifies it as a kitchen???? Ridiculous IMO
I believe in Thailand they have a wet kitchen that is outside to keep the mess and cooking smells out of the house . For 71,000 USD it’s a bargain and I would personally prefer not being furnished so I can furnish myself. I would also do the kitchen over to be more western with a gas or electric stove top and built in oven . I would also put a big double door fridge with ice maker and have the wet kitchen outside with a BBQ . The washrooms could be done over as well with better fixtures and glass enclose Still for the price cheap and modifying in Thailand probably wouldn’t cost too much
This absolutely gorgeous woman keeps me engaged in all of these videos a little longer than I probably would. The homes are great in all of these vids but she is a true treasure.
I enjoy all of the Farang Homes presentations, and I used to think I would like to live in Chiang Mai. However, now I worry about the air quality there and will look elsewhere in Thailand.
This is amazing value for the price the home looks like a solid build and one of the best features is the height of the ceiling it must be over 3 meters. I personally would prefer unfurnished so I can choose my own furnishings and I would do the kitchen over inside with sink and stove and large double door fridge with ice maker . I would add glass enclosure for the showers as well otherwise what a fantastic home at an amazing price. And as always the presentation was a absolute pleasure to watch that young lady could sell me anything , I swear she could sell sand to the Arabs and Ice to the Eskimos
Most charming presenter! Your kindness and grace manifest in every video. The channel should do merch with the happy catchphrase "That's really good" 🙂
@@bigradwolf5001 No, a foreigner cannot. There are articles on the internet that explain that, with a few exceptions, it is possible, but even then one will never become the owner of the piece of land on which the house stands. I wanted to post a few links here but it seems RU-vid doesn't allows it. Read up I would say.
@@peterenrique67 There are hundreds of subdivisions like this on the video all over Thailand so the Farangs who lives there can tell you what good their house is for even if on leased land. My guess is it's cheaper and more beautiful than house with owned lands from where they came from. Just make sure the lease is 25 + 25 = 50 years. OR if you really want peace of mind on your land, buy freehold condos. You own the land pro-rated via the condo association forever. That's what I did, since I LOVE PEACE of mind.
49% ... anything that connects to land . But if you do your research, you'll find that even people paying the 40 million baht to outright own it are at risk of losing their investment. Fact is : Thailand can take any investment from you without any legal standing. It's happened to too many people. Many foreigners left Thailand BEFORE covid because it was just too risky to actually own anything .
I don't see a garden you are talking about, but rather weeds. (grin) I would think it wise for them to have a real garden for their model home. And garbage cans out front? You gotta be kidding me. and an indoor kitchen with no sink, but an outdoor kitchen does have a sink????? So you have to cook outdoor with the bugs? But, you did a very good job of showing the home, you are so beautiful that you can make any bad house look better.
284 sq m?? That must be referring to the lot, not the house? That floor plan is a horrible application of the space. The front room and so called kitchen, are little more than a wide hallway.
Hi Klaus, as far as we are aware it’s installed after payment 😊 this is to make sure the customer is happy with the design. It’s difficult to change after it’s already been built in.
How many ways can you change the design on a kitchen that small? For presentation alone on a "model home", there should be a stove top, sink and built in microwave. Then you can call it a kitchen.
But Farangs are 50+ and already are done with kids so to me, the Farang houses should be 1 Bedroom - for him or her with his or her partner. Why I buy a house with an extra bedroom's? Just to look at them and pay for their price and later their maintenance? Makes no sense.
@@manchesterr85 yeah it's a house not a building.. that's like saying a bus has more seats than a car.. and of course it is cheap compared to other countries. Ever wondered why? Maybe the difference in minimum wage.
@@hobo1704 that’s a very stupid comparison. Privacy is a concern for everyone. But most condos cost more than this house. Even if the properties are close to each other, overall the privacy is gonna be really good at least inside the house. So comparing a condo to a house makes sense if the prices are about the same. (And legal ownership is not an issue) Minimum wage has an effect on several things, but a modern, well equipped house is always costly. Everywhere in the world. In case you believe everything is based on the local minimum wage, go check the price of cheeses, or the price of an iPhone in Thailand. And I’m pretty sure a pair of Nike shoes is also cheaper in the USA. Of course real estate is generally cheaper in a poorer country, but it’s not as simple as that. If it was located by the beach it would probably cost $300k.
For the price, this is a horribly designed house. The living room and kitchen is way to small. How can you have a shower without any glass door or partition from the toilet. Level the house and start over. Sorry to say that, but for the price, it's not worth the cost.
@@kencolvin8613 obviously it was a joke. Wasn’t too funny. Making fun of someone’s accent on their page is more like an insult. :) Especially a Thai person, their language is so different from ours, heavy accent is guaranteed.
@manchesterr85 obviously you are an over sensitive social justice clown ...it was actually funny and you are definitely and little simp looking for points for some reason.
Love the videos and seeing the amazing properties which makes me want to visit the beautiful country. Keep up the great work and I look forward to the next video.
