Today the first day of the World Championship 2.4 was sailed under windy conditions. Wind 18 knots in gusts 27 knots.

All the madness of Model Yachting with the discomfort of long distance ocean crossing, great accessibility AND you still get to drink in the bar afterwards. This is the perfect nautical sport.

Just keeling the mast and ahead of the mast would help to sail upright faster and in control in this breeze.

It has 300 lbs of lead in it's keel. It just pops right back up on it's own. It's the same with most big sailboats with cabins too.
