Awesome video, just installed the same leveling kit on my 2018 F250, process was just about identical. Surprisingly easy process consider the quotes I was getting in San Diego were $570-$1000 for install.
How is the ride quality with the spring? I did the spacer level kit on my 2012 and now want to swap out to Springs instead, just was curious if the ride is any better than stock?
Powerstroke 87 I wouldn’t recommend it. I did notice a slight difference in ride quality over stock, but it probably has to do more with the fact that my old shocks and springs had over 100K miles on them. I am currently saving up money to install a Carli 4” Backcountry lift kit. Carli engineers their leveling kits and lift kits specifically for our trucks. They are very speedy - starting at about $1,000 and going all the way up to over $8,000 Yikes!!!! I would recommend looking into their stuff if it’s within your budget.
X.Emxtion.X Thanks for the compliment, much appreciated! I just started doing this so the production values of my videos will improve over time. Stay tuned - I will be posting a video with my review of this kit after having about 6,000 miles driven since install. Feel free to message me if you have any questions and are looking to purchase this kit. I wish I would have gone a different route..
Andrew Haynes man I understand right now I got a 2013 6.7 but all I got is a DPF delete but I still need to get my ‘No limit Fab’ EGR delete kit with the coolant flow plate and and I’ve been wanting to upgrade my turbo from the 2013 to the 2016 turbo but yea I’ll definitely stick around to watch you videos👍🏽
X.Emxtion.X What tuner are you going with? Are you planning on doing any suspension mods as well? The No Limit EGR delete kit is the only kit that I’m aware of that has the coolant pass through. Unfortunately I purchased my Sinister EGR delete before I found out about the No Limit kit. I haven’t had any issues with the Sinister kit, though.
Andrew Haynes with all the research I’ve been doing for the past few months now I’m going for the EZ-LYNK tuner and I’ll be getting a 5” straight pipe and suspension i don’t know I’m still thinking if I should go with a 2.5” or a 3-4”
X.Emxtion.X I have heard good things about the Ez Lynk. I’ll be posting a video review of my Patriot Diagnostics NDash tuner this week sometime. I’ve been very pleased with it so far and they just updated the software and it now has the capability of doing on screen tuning for the engine and transmission.
It would technically work, but you would be over-sprung by about 400lbs (900lbs for the diesel and 500lbs for the gas) and the ride would be very rough.
tim adkins The video thumbnail picture has the Following setup: The wheels are Fuel Vandals 20X10 with -19 offset. The negative offset of the wheels is what pushes the tires outward, giving the truck the stance that you see in the video. I wouldn’t recommend any more negative offset than -19 unless you are planning on installing a 4” lift. The tires are 295/65R20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers which are 35.1” tall and 11.6” wide. You should be able to fit standard 35X12.50 tires with this leveling kit with some trimming to the inner wheel well liners. I had to do minor trimming with the narrower 295/65R20 tires.
@@andrewhaynes09 For others out there wondering how big they can go, I have a 2014 F250XLT 6.2L gas and just put on 35x12.5x17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on stock rims with no modifications (no lift and no trimming) and have room to spare. The stock positive offset is what makes this work and the more negative you go the more modifications required as you indicated.
