It’s hilarious to see the reaction of my wife when I’m watching one of your videos! To 99% of the population you might as well be speaking Mandarin. 🤙🏾😎
im new to owning a 04 chevy avalanche z71 4x4 1500 truck and looking at the right wheels n tires to have it leveled and coil spring conversion since it has factory air ride suspension. im in no rush since in waiting on new front end parts b4 the winter hits 😮💨. i was told 33x12.5r17 would do the trick with wheel spacers but would it be better to have no spacers and to trim the excess or would it be better to go with wheel spacers? asking cuz i wanna make the truck look better and more appealing than the faded paint on the hood and stock ride height
Your videos are always very professionally done with excellent information & amazing eye candy. Thank you! I look forward to working with you and your team one day soon.
Just what the doctor ordered! This is exactly what I was looking for, I’m still thinking about buying an F350, I wanted a Tremor, but I need a box 8. The ideal solution to create a Tremor XL. Thanks
Awesome video! Great job speaking clear etc. Could you please tell me what I need for my set up.. 23 Tremor 250, just ordered Fuel’s 20x10 0 offset and a set of 37” Toyo AT/3’s. Will I be able to simply swap this set up with stock set up? If not, can you tell me what I need m, while also getting rid of the rake at the same time? Thanks for you time!!
With a 10 wide wheel you're going to have to do some cutting. A 8.5-9" wide wheel would have given you more room. That said, with some trimming and a leveling kit, you'll be able to pull it off.
So with the 23/24 Tremor pkg and same with the plow prep SDs you can actually run 37 12.5s with no level or lift unless the owner desires one. Good vid fellas! Very informative
I have a 24 F250 XL on order. It has the XL Off-Road and FX4 Package. It also has the High Capacity Axle Upgrade and the Heavy Service Front Suspension Package (which gives me 1” higher than a stock 4x4). I would like to run 37x12.50 BFG MT KM3s on Tremor wheels that are 18"x8" (Part # M-1007K-1808SD), what do I need to accomplish this? I’ve seen conflicting information on a need for a leveling kit.
Will 37/11.50r17 on stock rim dually w/ minor suspension upgrades on a ‘16 ram gen 4 fit, or will I need spacers and what size? Asking a friend… thank you 🙏. *Also not really looking to tow much or worried about rubbing this season…
With a 2022 f350 with carli 3.5 backcountry without fabricated radius arms, is it unlikely to be able to fit 37x12.50 tires with kick back mudflaps on a 18x9 +18 or +20. Nobody runs mudflaps on these but I prefer to with the local laws and protecting truck. Thx
Great video, I have a 2018 F350 Platinum long bed and I'm looking to run 37x12.5 on my stock wheel with 2.5 level (already installed) and improve my ride. Can you hook me up with a few options?
Only this gear and setup could make Ford look foolish for not building the truck like this from the factory. They build a rig which really kinda consists of a ‘Tremor’ sticker on the fender and hope y’all can fix it. Amazing.
Super helpful video! I've got a line on cheap 37x13.50x20, but I want to keep the stock 20" Ford wheels. Seems like too wide for a stock 8" wheel. Thoughts on that? If so, what's the best lift? I'd like the smallest possible lift.
Man oh man this video is so nice! I am pausing each & every setup to analyze all the individual details of every beautiful Alumiduty truck! I love it, they all look so sweet! So many choices available for all these wonderful beasts nowadays! I can't wait to get into one of these things in a few years when the outrageous, insane $80k - $95k+ prices come down into more accessable ranges for the average guy. I paid $7500 for my first '00 f250 7.3 in '11, another one - $5k for 'e99 f250 7.3 w\plow in ~'15, and a '00 f250 zf6 7.3(rwd) in '14 for $1k which is still going. Hopefully we have a few changes happening after Halloween (Nov. 5th) and some other things change so I can get a nice, well-taken-care-of one for a more reasonable amount.👌🏻👍🏻🛠️🔧🔩🤔 ✊🏻🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸✊🏻
I have a 2021 Roush edition that has I believe a 2” lift and fender flares… I want 37’s and have found a rim I like that comes in 3 sizes 20x10 -12 20x9 +0 20x9 +12 I’m either going with BFG MT or Nitto Ridge grappler, what’s my best avenue of attack?
Those have much less room to play with sadly. At level height 37s take decent trimming of the front fender, even with a +18 offset wheel. 0 offset is pretty solid trimming of the front bumper, bumper brackets, and fender/fender liner.
To fit 37s on a Super Duty, we typically recommend around 0 offset to +18 offset on a 8.5-9.5” wide wheel. For reference, 0 offset gives a slight poke, while +18 is flush with the factory size fender flares.
I just got my Carli backcountry 2.5 leveling on my 2017 f250 running method 305 and 37/13.50/17 with a 0 offset, with very little trimming very little. Only problem I’m dealing with is a blown shock, my shop can’t get a hold of the people they ordered it from, any suggestions for me so I can tell them so I can tow again. Thanks for any advice.
You'll want to have you or the shop reach out to Carli directly if it's a warranty issue. That will get it resolved quickly as Carli is the one responsible for all warranty.
Thoughts on removing front sway bar? Ive already removed mine for off road articulation and cant tell much difference at all on road. What are the cons of removal since i don't tow much but haul 2000 lbs in the bed often?
Great info! By any chance, do you know is a 326/60 r20 (35.4 x 13) would fit without any rubbing on the 23+ super duty’s with stock height and wheels? Thank you!
This may be a stupid question. Why do some 2017+ superduty trucks have a rear sway bar, and some don't? I have a 2021 f250 and it does have a rear sway bar. Can I take it off?
Nope, but the stock wheels are your issue. The tires will rub the radius arms and sway bar unless you run spacers. Stock wheels are +45 offset. To fit 37s on a Super Duty, we typically recommend around 0 offset to +18 offset on a 8.5-9.5” wide wheel. For reference, 0 offset gives a slight poke, while +18 is flush with the factory size fender flares.
Here's a video of the 5.5 and level height EVenture running side by side! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-73BQDBKD3kI.html as for gearing, we didn't find it necessary.
Awesome video! You guys are great. I have a 22’ F-250 Tremor with the 2.5” leveling kit. I wanted some poke with my wheel set up but was told a 9.5 wide and 0 is the most offset I should run. I see your white one with a -12 and 37x13.5 tires. How much more trimming is involved with that set up vs the 0 offset? Any rubbing? I was hoping to go -12 with 37x12.5 but I don’t want to have to trim metal or sacrifice usability. Thanks!
Not gonna happen unless you're okay with some contact on the sway bar and radius arms. You can just barely get away with it doing a 12.5 wide all terrain and then adding a Carli sway bar and radius arms for a little more room.
@@CJCOffRoad Looks like you don't offer anything that resembles the factory setup. People like the leveled look but considering Ford had hundreds of millions of dollars invested in designing their trucks, it is ridiculous to think the average Joe can outsmart those engineers!
No you will have to trim for 38s, and we'd recommend a 0 to +12 offset wheel to get them a little further from the radius arms and sway bar when turning.
Fuel economy really doesn't change much on these trucks as they're made to tow and haul, so some larger tires don't bother them. As for noise, as long as you go with an all terrain or hybrid tire, it really isn't an issue either! The big mud terrains are loud however.
We have no, since sadly we don't have the same depth of example builds to show. For those trucks, you need a +18 offset wheel no wider than 9" and some trimming to clear 37s.
REALLY?!?! Would love to get a DIY video of what they did. I hate the aftermarket bumpers with winches. Comes out way too far for my taste. @@CJCOffRoad
It's literally just a factory bracket from Ford! You can order it from any dealer and bolt the winch right in. It's about as clean and simple as it gets!
@CJCOffRoad although I live in TX I'm gonna get with y'all for my truck. It's a '23 F250 Tremor and it's supposed to be delivered next week. Y'all are the best for the SD! Glad mine got built before the foolery of the UAW!
@@CJCOffRoad I will guess that with the E-venture 4.5 and the correct wheel backspacing and offset 38x13.5 still will fit not to mention 37x13.5 or 12.5.
Great information - good to provide free education and help all in the community avoid set up mistakes! That is why CJC is the best option in S. Cal for all your Dodge and Superduty needs!
I can’t stand the way these newer trucks look with 17s or 18s. They freaking wheel just looks so tiny especially with a 37. To all those wanting 37s please get a 20in tall wheel it will look much better. No one needs 7in of sidewall. 😊
We'd actually disagree. 17s and 18s ride considerably better than 20s whether it's on pavement or off road. If you care about ride quality, big tire small wheel will always win. Obviously aesthetics are totally up to the person though.
I got rid of the 20 wheels they make your truck look like a clown truck ,hit a curb and they break ,besides looks stupid. I am running 37x17 toyo mt open country on method 8.5 ,6inch lift looks killer.
