Hey y'all! As you can probably guess, this was one of our maternity leave videos, but it didn't get finished in time to post during the actual 2 months of leave. Now that we're back, we decided to whip it in to shape and add it to the channel. But don't worry, lots of fresh content is still in the works and coming very soon! Thanks for watching!
I love the long format “reviews for the ages”. I wouldn’t be mad if you continue to provide archived content. I am not a Glossier customer. I’m not sure I could or want to pursue this line. I do love listening to your cosmetic stories. Just saying, the best sunscreens prime and moisturize.
Off topic, I guess, but one of the things I like so much about the way you do makeup is that it would be wearable in real life...not just "in natural light" but in actual, real life, to the human eye, not just a camera.
I feel like these fit in with your fresh content, and are a review of what we already owned. We get the 'new' constantly pushed at us, but this is a consideration of what is already here. Please keep these coming, maybe vlogmas style, and with the fresh content.
Hi Hannah! I'm a new viewer and love the continued compilations. The eyeshadow trio portion made me wonder if you would ever do "back to basics" makeup tutorials. They would be helpful to those of us who got here through your fashion content (and maybe others) who don't know much about makeup
I second this! I would love a series of bare bones basics-what is a primer, what is a foundation, etc., and the order of operations for everything. I’ve picked up bits and pieces watching a ton of makeup videos, but when I actually sit down to do my makeup I feel like I have no gameplan, and no memory of what I’m ‘supposed’ to be using products for. I’d kill for a cheat sheet 😅 take off some of that cognitive load!
Wow what an overview. This video pairs well with the video by elle-literacy "girlboss-ier: the rise and fall of Glossier" We are so down for more compilation videos!
Same here. It really stands out. I actually think that Hannah's style was unique. I also like minimalism but I really enjoyed her bold colorful outfits from the past. There are so stylish and look really nice on Hannah
It’s interesting to see how over time the conclusion Hannah seems to have is “strongly mixed feelings”…I feel the same way. Truly the only products that I’d say are keepers are that exfoliating bar and the Cloud Paint, and the latter has taken A LOT of trial and error to find the application that works for me. I’ve come to the conclusion that overall, the brand doesn’t deliver what I want in cosmetics.
She already did one a few months ago, it's called Five hair rules I never break, really recommend watching it 🤗 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9NJGeLl7gww.htmlsi=xGqUiCG5y6uD-Moz
I feel like Glossier is hit ot miss just like any other makeup brand, I havent tried super many product but heres my speed review: Paint cloud: only tried spark, but amazing. Lash slick: it’s an ok subtle every day mascara in brown, I usually want more volume if I do a look with eyeshadow Boy brow: I really like it Haloscope: I really like it for a natural highlighter, I generally like things that set, but this doesnt mind me bc I dont think its that sticky Stretch concealer: ass! I cant make it work for me, it either does nothing or is cakey. Impossible to build up. I rather have a self setting medium-high coverage concealer that I can thin out
Could you imagine if glossier had mattes that you could build up or blend out, a nice, chic shimmer, and a shadow topper instead of these 3 trash shades? :/
I truly dont understand their eyeshadow trios, they make 0 sense, just launch a trio with a matte dark shadow, lighter satin and a contrast sparkle like 🤷♀️
