I was diagnosed this week with epilepsy i see flashing colorful spots often throughout the day i had my first seizure 3 days ago i bit my tongue real bad my white jumper was covered in blood but i dont remember a thing (only waking up in an ambulence car)

Ive heard there is treatment to this im getting it soon

When my heart stopped n when I went into coma are the only 2 times I didnt feel pain, until I awoke, but I actually felt the opposite of pain for a second,it was this loose feeling. When I woke up that time, and opened my eyes, I just knew the difference between dying and being unconscious.. Something felt different when I woke up,And when they told me what all happened, it was surreal . I was so grateful, and still am 🖤 Then they took me & put me on dialysis for a month. . Btw Thank You✨️ You are even stronger by taking that next step and motivating people with it.🖤 But anyways thanks for asking 💫 My seizures are getting better than they were as far as having much less of them. Comparing 8 years ago when this randomly occurred, but recently it's goods and bads but either way it's progress until I make it all the way seizure free. My brain has been allowing me to have a lot more mental peace now though, although epilepsy currently occurs in my life But I actually have a brain surgery coming up sometime soon at the mayo clinic in Minnesota;they gave me 7 days to decide to go through with it or not. I finally said said yeah. We've been several times so they could do test to try & understand my brain & body as much as possible before they take any action, so it should definitely be worth it...i hope. I really hope you are having good progress as well and are having less seizures too,I know I'm just one viewer, but I've been a little dry on RU-vid, so it's time to catch up on all your newest.!& Thank you. My sister has seizures and it is hard for them to come out of them if u freak out. It is better to stay calm and let them know u are there and that they will be okay otherwise it will just make them a lot worse. It is very hard to deal with. You can not always get rid of them it all depends on what type they have. If u take medication it minimizes the number u have.

I dont get any feeling or warning whatsoever before I get a seizure. They just happen and I realise I had one after regaining consciousness

My girlfriend does the same thing. She’s had so many that she knows exactly what it feels like before she has one and can call it out a couple seconds before she has one. It breaks my heart but she’s a trooper ❤️

She always knows when she's about to have one. It's a good thing actually, so she can prepare herself for it or warn someone around her that she's going to have one

You don't know when you're having a seizure until it hits

I know someone that has “pots” and they have a feeling before they start to seize and it’s good so the environment is controlled as much as possible because if they hit the back of their head they can lose memories it’s good to call out their name and try to get their attention

@@cody7342 during it you are unconscious ,and your body contracts all the muscle really hard ,so hard in some cases you may break your bones ,esoscially backbones neck etc ,you cant contract your muscles that hard normally ,your brain stops you at a point ,but during seizure one is so powerful ,2-3 guys cant even stop you.

Bald Boy In my experience you feel so light and like you going out of your body before one happens then your dazed after.

I have absent seizures where i just space out for a minute which caused me to fall of porch stairs before. I also have grand Mal which are more serious, but i don't know when i'm going to have them which is why i can't drive.

Uniシ they can get worse than this too. My uncle has them all the time but his worst ones his back is almost bent completely back it looks scary and abnormal and he hurts for days sometimes weeks after. I had to take care of him for a year and it was so hard to see him go through that pain. You also have to make sure they don’t hit their head or break any bones while comforting them out of it. I wish nobody had to suffer with this.

UglyMyPlayer it’s sad to think about, but i think her mom is used to it. she’s probably had seizures most of her life. yes, her mom probably did panic when the first few years of her having them. my aunt used to have them all the time, but thankfully doesn’t as often now.

rip snort so true, my step father had cancer and towards the end of his life he started having seizures and me witnessing that absolutely broke my heart and I couldn’t believe someone could go through that, he had like 5 in 2 days, and had to be on anti seizure meds til he passed,
