Here are 2 different seizures I had on August 16th. After that second seizure video you watch I ended up falling asleep for the night. I woke up around 2am for almost an hour and had a seizure. Since I kept having seizures I took an Ativan. I didn’t get a video of the 3rd seizure.

I don’t appreciate having seizures because I can’t drive 😪 My brother and sister that are one and two years older than me got to drive at my age cuz my dad taught them but I can’t drive because of seizures.

A former friend of mine had seizures and i was told and showen how to handle when she had a seizure. Her mom told me not to hold her head down while she had a seizure but to make sure she was on her side and to just stay by her side till she came out of it.

Hey! I just found your channel. I've been diagnosed with epilepsy for 10 years now, since I was 18. I'm on the highest doses of keppra, I'm on carbamazipine, lamotragine, and clobazam. My neurologist finally considered surgery. They were able to refer me to an Epileptimologist, which took almost 2 years for an appointment. I was able to get tested an Epilepsy Monitoring Clinic, and find exactly where the seizures are occurring. These seizures have been so painful. I've had family members tell me to take a break from university and my education because of them (of course I didn't listen). The seizures suck the life out of me, and sometimes I just hate the fact I can't function like everyone else. But I'm still thankful for all the things I do have. I've got a great career as a Registered Nurse, and I'm not going to let this illness destroy who I want to become. And I just want to say, my mother has been my greatest support as well. She is the only person in the whole WORLD who really understands what I'm going through. I don't know what I would do without her. Sending love ♡.

All that anxiety and uncomfortable feelings I got during my daily activities has decreased significantly. I stayed in the hospital for 4 days. I can't explain it, but that feeling of freedom is amazing! It feels like you've been released from a cage! I hope you're doing well ♡♡

I have suffered three brain stem strokes after the second seizures also arrived these continued at two or three daily for about a month On one occasion I was falling down into this pitch black hole and I was calling out don’t let me go and a voice was saying don’t worry I have got your hands I won’t let you go The other thing I somehow recall was I was up in the ceiling looking down watching the Doctor and Nurses at my bedside trying to bring me back. I was kept on medication for twelve months and thankfully have not had any reoccurrence I am sure God was looking after me. I am eighty one years of age now play bowls and love to go fishing fresh water. Love life and all around you

@@pbs4535 I don't think anyone is trying to blame anyone for anything or try and figure out why we've been abandoned by our own mothers, it's really just an observation, a statement.. I wish my mom cared about me like yours does you. I know why my mom is the way she is.. it has absolutely nothing to do with how she was raised, my grandparents were amazing and I had the best relationship with her father out of anyone in my family. She hired a woman to raise me.. I was raised by a nanny. My mom didn't want kids. She had kids because she got knocked up and abortion was illegal. You can really hurt someone by making assumptions and asking people to not judge others based on your assumptions. When you don't know the whole story, it's best to not make any suggestions at all.

Hello young lady, I'm very sorry you have to go through this seizures. I pray for you and your mom! I myself had 2 seizure a while back due to a brain tumor. The hardest thing for me was having my drivers license taken away. I did get it back 2 years late after my tumor was shrunken. It was so hard getting a job and rides to the doctor appointments. 4 year of unemployed and no help from the government I finally got a job with one of the school districts in my area. I had to call in sick on my first day on the job. Tested positive for Covid-19 on 8/3/2020, I was in quarantine for 5 week since everyone in my house got sick. I pray blessing for you!!

Ange, Thank you for sharing your journey in life with this. You have helped so many people and their families, more than can be counted. The strength for life and the love with your mum is palpable. As a Nurse who also educates families as well as paramedics, I have found your video jurney a blessing for them. It has helped so many people understand this condition, the various stages and care. It is such a traumatic thing to be involved with, I believe with you sharing brings attention to it and how to care and support someone. Allowing people into such a personal part of your life takes great strength, you are a superhero that truly has impacted so many people in a positive way. Stay strong and god bless you and your family. Jason

Let's appreciate the mother and the daughter who is having a "grand mal seizure". I am having seizures since 1969.I had two brain strokes. The cause of my seizures. I had one seizure on the 29th of May 2021, the day after my 57th birthday. My head bled. I had to call the ambulance. I went to the hospital to get better. But it ain't fun. Good luck to Ang, and her mother. David

I’ve smoked weed and vaped it for around 10 years now and when I stopped I started having seizures. I’d unknowingly been medicating myself for years and when I started vaping it again my seizures stopped completely... and I was having grand mal seizures and and a focal seizure around one every hour. I was diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of 25 in April and I’m now on lamictal. I’m going to slowly stop vaping as I transition over to the medication and see how I get on but I would highly recommend looking into the powers of CBD. You have incredibly supportive and loving parents and I wish you all the best in your recovery 💙

I had a friend with this sort of problem, his seizures were brought on from a brain tumor that took him way too early. All you could do is give him IV Ativan and wait for it to pass. It is absolutely horrifying for the person having the seizure, yet loved ones are left feeling powerless to help. Kudos to your mom for keeping a clear head. I hope you have the seizures under control.

This is my first visit to your Channel. It is absolutely horrific to see this happening, because there's not much you can do to stop it when it comes. My dad had a massive brain tumor removed in 2017, and then he got better, but then 2 months later he landed back in hospital, and the hospital staff forgot to administer my dad's seizure medication, and he started getting seizures every 5 minutes 24/7 for 1 month, the hospital staff just shooo'd me every time I queried it. Eventually I broke open the medical box above my dad's bed and found ALL of his siesure medication intact in its boxes as I gave it to them 35 days prior. We started administering it and 2 days later he was fine and went home. That is utter hospital incompetence. But we found that my dad did not know after a siesure that he had one, but it's extremely tiring. My heart goes out to these people who has it their whole life. My dad was on Epilim, but it has terrible side effects. I know those you are having is painful as you pull muscles in the process.

My wife had seizures ranging from petit mal to grand mal over 25 years. A lot of them at night so I never slept a full night hardly, just making sure she didn't hurt herself. It's hard work, but fortunately we chanced upon a drug combo which seems to address them; but as we were approaching a certain time of life it's difficult to see the woods for the trees. I'm glad it's gone for now it seems. It's a living death because your loved one seems to be absent during the seizures. I would candidly comment if I may, that the Coke tins in the shot in the car was worrying. I worked for a food scientist for a few years and I know that certain foods and additives can trigger or at least aggravate epilepsy. Coke is just sugar and phosphoric acid; it cannot possibly help. We did do an extreme diet once which without medication stopped the seizures for 7 months. I'd recommend a diet overhaul: Simple foods, no fast foods, no fizzy stuff, just natural cooking and produce. Stay with it and see what happens. Totally with you guys, God bless you.

Me too.. Every time I see your videos come up in my stream, I watch, just feeling helpless and wanting to do something. I pray that you overcome this as well. I used to get "grand mal, black out, ambulance ride every time" - type seizures. But.. No epilepsy found, somehow. It just started about 6 yrs ago. Sleep study, mri, ct scans.. Nothing. They got mine under control, except little muscle jolts I get sometimes. I pray the same for you. I don't know what its like to experience this type of seizure you do, and I don't know the feeling of one coming on. Would you rather not have that ability? I can see pros and cons of knowing its coming. With mine? No idea. I would be walking (once in the middle of a restaurant getting shown to my seat, once through a parking lot by myself) and I would just wake up feeling terrified, or loopy/drugged up if they had to stop the seizing w/ iv. I know this is hard. I have no doubt you'll overcome this, though. You have lots of followers who are cheering and praying for you. 🤗

You and mom are troopers for sure. Thanks for sharing your experience. I would love to get more educated on this. I am a 6th grade teacher. Have not had this happened with any students but I know it did with my coworker. We don't get enough training for this. I definitely will be more calm should this ever happen.

I pray they stop for you. I haven’t had one for a while. Mine started one year after a brain surgery/brain bleed from a fall. I have weak legs due to my rare spinal disease adhesive arachnoiditis. The two seizures you just had looked so bad and I’m so sorry. Prayers and hugs. Your mom reminds me of mine. I have to live with her now.

My heart goes out to you. I only had one seizure, status epilepticus. I sincerely hope you can find healing and peace. Be well.
