2 beatmakers 1 sample with Malo Beats on MPC Live2

I started watching Malo about a month ago, and I found his page good. So I didn’t even know he was on this, so that made me watch even more.

I didn’t find this as a contest but more like 2 different perspectives. I like both for different reasons. It’s interesting how 2 producers/ beat makers/ creators can manipulate the same sample and make something different. Malo’s had a feeling and Masta Kraft had a technical vibe. This was a fun watch. You’ve earned my subscription

Both are head nodders but I’m leaning towards Malo! Kraft’s beat and arrangement is very 90s and giving me 90s east coast backpacker vibes although I can hear west coast acts like Sondoobie and the Alkaholics on the track. I’m digging where Malo went with it. Semitone changes made it more gritty for me and I hear Method Man, Rakim, Guru, or Inspectah Deck killing the track! 2 excellent tracks but I’m giving the nod to Malo Beats!!! Dope AF! New sub!!!
