James Nolan and Kim Natori were celebrating their anniversary by recreating their first meeting at Papago Park when they saw the police tape.
Two bodies were discovered a mile apart on Sunday morning, one is being investigated as a homicide.

I used to live by there in the 1970s. It was so peaceful, now it's just crawling with people.

How did two unrelated bodies/crimes(?) just happen to be discovered at the same time? Was the PD doing some random search of the park?

imho - would probably be a good idea for the parks to partner with Ring and city police (allocated camouflaged fixtures placed in palms), for added security and potential investigations.

@@joshbenson8039 it could be a temporary thing. Or, if this is a high traffic area, it might be a good idea for public safety long term. Some areas need security and regular patrols may not be feasible $$.
