When they bring these scumbags in, Kim Fox is refusing to prosecute many of them. By allowing murderers and gang members to walk the street, Kim Fox has done more to hurt the city of Chicago than anyone in history. She is a disgrace.

@Douggie Fresh ...Since Kim has been there they have had several cases where gang members who are known by the Chicago gang units have been identified in person and on video shooting into crowds trying to kill other gang members. Ms Fox has thrown out a lot of these cases citing "lack of evidence", even though the person is right there on video committing the crimes. She is one of those people who believe that putting young black and Latino men in jail is not "politically correct. The only times she does her job is when a case has the attention of the news media. Otherwise she tries to pretend there is no gang problem. The woman has lost her mind.

@@ohgee1379 no. Most countries have bail systems, not just America. Some countries don’t allow you free before trial at all. The purpose of the $$$ is to make it so large, that it would be a hardship to you if you didn’t show up for your court appearances. And in most cases, you can get a bail bondman that actually pays your bail for you. You generally only have to pay him 10%. So if your bail was $10,000, you would only need to pay your bondman $1,000. Then if you skip bail, they are the ones who track you down so they don’t have to pay the $$$. Hence, Dog the Bounty Hunter. It’s actually a very good system. As opposed to others like Iran or China, North Korea, where you’re held until trial. Heck, countries like Saudi Arabia still throw people off the roofs of buildings as punishment for being gay. I’ve studied the law, and as designed it’s perfect. The problem just comes with the implementation sometimes. But even that is better than most. Heck, Julian Assange is having a hearing today in the UK. He’s never been convicted of anything & yet the Brits denied his bail & have him in solitary confinement. But to show you how politics plays into it. The people who trespassed into the Capitol on Jan 6th are being held in solitary confinement & have been denied bail. They haven’t been charged with crimes, which by law has to be done within 72hrs of arrest, but because people didn’t like who they voted for, they’ve essentially been kidnapped & are being held against their will. Meanwhile people who looted & burned down entire cities were never even arrested, & the cop who killed Ashli Babbit, the only person to die in the Capitol Riots hasn’t even been named. But you can bet if she was a different skin color & voted for someone else, thousands would’ve taken to the streets demanding justice for her. So maybe you’re right. Maybe things do suck. All things being equal though, if I’m ever caught up in the legal system, I hope it’s the US.
