Happy birthday to anyone watching this on your birthday. Edit: As I watch this video on my birthday 2 years after posting this comment, I hope yall have many more birthdays!
Lines like "All I want for my birthday is a big booty ho", "I'm in the kitchen, yams everywhere" and of course, "She got a big booty, so I call her big booty" are simply amazing. They are lines that bring the human race together, they inspire us, they captivate us and it reminds me how fantastic the human race is. 2 Chainz is truly inspirational.
2 Chainz is a revolution in rap music. His lyrics explicitly cut deep into your soul, especially this one; and I quote: "She got a big booty, so I call her big booty" Never have I heard such an agreeable but also thought-provoking line from any rap artist in the industry.
@@BrothaGoneBased it was the "last birthday she got you a new sweater" line that had her going, "you don't ever like any of the shit I buy you" .... and it was at that point I knew the car ride was fucked lol
@@patmac7139 Lmfao I have no idea how they pick arguments out of thin air. Gotta love em but like damn. At this point you gotta skip songs thats risky for conflict
Happy Birthday!!! Today is my oldest daughter's birthday 22 and this is the best birthday song I know. Her and friends all agreed my generation has screwed them up. After playing a few songs, I apologized 😢🎉😂❤
This song has very special meaning. This was the very last time I heard from my brother before he died in a fatal car accident. He always knew how to put a smile on my face
Demetrius M I’m sorry for your loss. This song has a special meaning for me also. It was one of the hardest times in my life but it was also some of the best times in my life. It was both at the same time. And I have a great time remembering all the pejole I hung out w at the time it came out. One of my friends is passed since then another is in a physical rehab place for medical problems , my husband and I are estranged on and off. And another friend we lost touch. But I won’t ever forget that year or that song.
My brother, sister in law, and I send this to each other for every birthday. It's become a bit of a tradition and I'm so glad 2 chainz can be part of it
This song was released on the day my son was born. I will never forget it. This song and "Clover cage - frozen in time" are the songs that have kept me sane through these tough times. I am posting this to spread love and to tell you that we are in this together ❤
2 Chainz: She got a big booty, so I call her big booty. 10 Chainz: She is in possession of an extraordinary gluteus maximus, therefore, I refer to her as Extraordinary Gluteus Maximus.
50 Chainz: This female has inherited possession of an exemplary gluteus maximus. As a result, I have decided to refer to her as such, as an endearment.
I turned 29 two days ago. I smashed a pawg to this song and I had the best birthday in a decade easily. Tonight we're gonna have episode 2. Hold my drink, I'm peaking over here. 😁 Keep it player ladies and gentlemen. life is good.
I was in 5th grade when this dropped everybody in school used to get in trouble for saying " all I want for my birthday is a big booty hoe" omg I miss these times 😭

The funny thing is, if you watch any of the videos on RU-vid where 2 Chainz speaks (interviews/MES series) people would know that he is a intellegent man. He even finished college with good grades i think. And even though that does not have to correlate with becoming or being a good lyrical rapper, he’s good at what he does: making Trap music. Which are notorious for whack overplayed lyrics. Thats also why im not listening to J Cole or any conscious rappers when i just feel like bumping a trap banger to feel like a G. Thats the gap guys like 2 Chainz fill, even though i like good bars, sometimes all you need is a good trap beat with a rapper adding a small touch to make it bump
Katrina Catrell Obviously not! Where else are you going to find lyrics as deep as "She got a big booty, so I call her Big Booty"? 2Chainz has showed he has studied up on his Shakespeare, you can see the influence in there. An artist for the ages, 2Chainz will forever be loved and respected.

Man this was my fav song when this song first dropped! I was 11-12 when this song first dropped! It’s such a legendary song forever and always. I turn 23 on June 24th 2022 and if I ever have kids ima for sure show them this song!
Upon initial glance, "She got a big booty, so I call her big booty," appear to be an unintelligent embodiment of the lack of creativity that rap and hip hop music is viewed as today. However upon further investigation, one will find that, in actuality, lyrical genius 2Chainz has crafted a beautiful and deep piece of literature carefully condensed into a single 11 word sentence that perfectly describes not only the world we live in, but also life itself. Starting off, this simplistic statement explores the naturalism of the truthful human experience. 2Chainz takes the phrase “it is what it is” and applies it to people and society. He calls her “big booty”, simply because she has a big booty. It is the truth of the situation, the natural truth, and 2Chainz brings this up because he is trying to make a point. He does not make the “big booty” a good or a bad thing, he presents it as a statement. There is no positive or negative feelings associated with the statement because it is a solid truth, and 2Chainz is trying to tell his audience that everything is a natural truth, and that these truths are just life. He does not express a want for “big booty”, nor a wish to change it, because all truths in life cannot be changed, and he knows that. “Big booties” are not good or bad. They just are. Secondly, 2Chainz’s culmination of language explains the self-conscious life many women live today. He could choose to call her anything he would like, but his name for her is inspired by her “big booty” because most women are conscious about their bodies. An interesting thing to note is he does not give ‘her’ a name. While one may assume he is referring to an specific female, the lack of clarity as to whom “she” is infers that 2Chainz is referring to all women who are self-conscious of their bodies, as many of whom would love to be remembered and named for their body. 2Chainz’s cultural history confirms this, being from College Park, Georgia: A historically African American town. It is common fact that the sexualization of women is prominent in African American culture, providing the basis of why 2Chainz calls her “big booty” (note: 2Chainz also refers to himself as “Tity Boi”, another reference to the sexualization of women in African American culture). Finally, 2Chainz uses this phrase to not only examine the truth of the statement, but also the truth of himself. 2Chainz speaks to his audience through this line, telling them face to face that he is a man who only speaks the truth. His word can be trusted, because all he is doing is telling it like it is. He is up front, using the lyrics “See ni**a, I’m balling, you in will call” to prove to his audience that he’s already at the top of his game, which means he has no motivation to lie. He has the money he needs, so you can listen to his blunt statement understanding that he truly calls her “big booty” because she has a “big booty”. In conclusion, Hip Hop artist 2Chainz uses a single sentence to explain the naturalism of life, the exploitation of women, and the truth of himself as an individual.
I'm not "high" on anything, especially not while doing a lyrical analysis. The beauty of 2Chainz' music is that to the common eye he is simply an unintelligent hip-hop artist. However when his lyrics are taken under further analysis one can find that, in truth, they provide deep and complex descriptions of life. It is for this reason that I go so far to say that 2Chainz' music provides more depth than say a song by 2Pac.
Dam it breaks my heart knowing a friend of mine showed me this song entering 7th grade, it hurts knowing I had to see my friends body laying in a casket, Rest easy Omar, you’ll be missed
