Hey Paul Thanks again for another explore. The first house was quite something. Love the return verandah and the doors leading onto it. The garden would have been beautiful in its day. The second house became useful for feeding and shearing sheep. My father did his apprenticeship at H.V. McKay in Sunshine. What innovative men they were in those days. 👍🍺🇦🇺

Once again, more to see on the outsides. This is the second time I've seen a root cellar with a fireplace, my only guesses are (as you said) for blacksmithing out of the hot summer sun or as an emergency winter shelter to keep warm. It would be interesting to know the story on that smashed up white Isuzu. Who's fault? Thanks for the tours Paul! Stayin tuned! 👍🤠

Well- these two were unlike the normal farm homes that we normally see you film- the stone house would have been very cold- cool in the summer, to be sure, but cold in the winter. It also would have been intensive to build. I wonder what the farm looked like back when it was built. The second one- why fill them with hay? I'm sure the corral layout makes some sense, but it just looks so random to me. Also seems like a fairly big operation to need that kind of equipment? Anyway, Paul- thanks, again, for more wonderful explore- the country is where my heart lays- Roo's and all. Have a wonderful weekend!!!!-SDK

Seeing those kangaroos was really cool. Now I hoping to hear a kookaburra bird. Sad there was a fire, Second house, too bad about the hay being there, I don't blame you for not going in.

Hello Paul, hope you are doing well. I would love to live in the country. It's so peaceful. Away from the city noise and close neighbors. I live alongside a busy road, and every time a semi would come through town, pass my house, my entire house shakes. Thanks for sharing another great video, Paul. Be safe and be careful. See you in the next explore.

That first property was named 'View Park' and it was built between 1868 and 1873. From 1880 it was owned by the Charlson family up until 2021. My late uncle and aunt rented and lived there for a few years in the late 1950's.

Thanks, Paul. You can imagine the 2nd one held my interest. The tractor looked like it wouldn't take much to start! By chance, last night a video of yours from 6 years ago (Abandoned - Is it copper?) showed up on my 'Home' page. I hadn't seen it previously so watched with interest and appreciate how you have moved from learning your craft to the natural filming and commenting of now. Great stuff! 👏👌
