It's pretty amusing how other people think they know everything. I had an older lady tell me that my beanies were knitted. They're not, they're crocheted. I dont even know how to knit. But she was totally rude about it. And then asked for a discount.

If someone called me a liar when I was at my craft booth literally crocheting, I would be flabberghasted. I have had people ask me if I make the things as I am literally crocheting in front of them, and I of course just answer yes! If they thought I was lying though.. I'm not sure if I would have the balls to tell them to leave, but watching yall gives me more confidence! I think I would try to handle it similarly!

I lived in Philly my whole life and moved out once I got married to the suburbs and I would absolutely never ever do an event in Philly. Montgomery County has a bunch. There is a nice one in October in Skippack, Chestnut Hill has a nice fall one....stay away from Philly.

Ugh... I live in Southern NJ and I avoid Philly at all cost. Driving in there is a nightmare. A lot of people call it Philthadelphia because it has become so bad. My husband and I years ago visited a family member in the hospital there and when heading home missed our turn and ended up stuck in a parade and lost. It took us hours to get out of there. Definitely not a fan. Glad your 2nd day worked out!

Wow that's really what they call a shit day but if a person is so rude as to tell me they think my products are from China I also will not sell to them. I'm also a leather worker and there have been a lot of times people have been rude about it or acted kind of snobby about my work given they are male and I am female. I can always tell the rude people before they speak because they stand sideways and never face me, they are just passive-aggressive humans. My craft, my rules I will not give time to people that show aggression

Just gonna say you have some really cute plushies and I wouldn’t worry about what some rude person in Philly says! I’ve want to try to do a craft sale for quite some time but I can’t seem to get enough made to make it worth my while. Lol good luck on your next endeavor! Oh btw I have too many special requests from my grandchildren I just might never be able to participate in one of those events. But that’s ok cause I love making their dreams come true. Also I like to quilt and do other little crafty things. So we shall see if I ever get around to selling things I’ll ask for a few pointers. Lol😊

I gave another event in Philly a chance 2 weeks later and I'm really glad I did. It was vastly different. Sometimes it's just the one specific event.

I also just had a coordinator that was just not friendly before I even signed up so after thinking about it I decided to skip that one. Some are very nice and others treat you like a child.

Glad I'm not the only one who gets miffed when people challenge whether I made it or not. To me it's very rude if they don't accept your first response. That first market sounded like a nightmare, but glad the second one was successful.

That lady who call your husband a lier is a clear case of tell me you have no idea what you’re buying without telling me. I’m glad you and your husband are able to choose not to sell to people like her. I think it’s also a bad way to run the event to have crafters and resellers at an event. If they do make it clear who is what or have them split into the different areas. Would you ever do the first even again based on the coordinators comments.

soooo...after all that, what were your biggest sellers and did you at least cover your table fee at the second market? alot of crocheters follow other crocheters to see what sells the best and what does not instead of hearing about how bad the coordinators are. I hope none of them watch your channel if you are hoping to get into another show of theirs. smh

I will be doing a recap of my best sellers after my shows are done. There’s no point in saying at each show because my best seller at the beach isn’t going to be my best seller in the city. I’m going to be going in depth of how things have sold after my next set of shows. I’m not trying to be like everyone else. I’m trying to give the most accurate information I can. And yes I made back my table fee. If I don’t make 7x my table fee I won’t consider it a good show. I have never said the name of the show or coordinator. I’m trying to give information for me to reflect on and for people to learn from. If you don’t like my content. Don’t watch it. This is the third time you’re in my comments bashing my content. You can give constructive criticism and be nice about it.
