So glad you ended up getting that jousting set after seeing this and hearing how much you wanted it. You have the best fans, because you have the best attitude and it can’t help but show through in your content!!
Love how people in North America think nothing of a 3 hour drive one way and a 3 hour drive the other way to go home. Just a complete different culture to attitude and driving vs the UK (obviously because it’s so small in comparison). That would probably be a two day trip and overnight stay for me. Love the dedication for Lego 👍
That hot air balloon would be a must have for your LEGO city especially if you put it on white translucent bricks so it looks like it's actually floating in the air. I so wish I had stores like this near me instead of just the LEGO store as much as I love the LEGO store, I've been wanting some of those architecture sets for ages like the U.N. building or Sydney and so on. I want to build Dubai so I can say I have a mini Burj Khalifa.
A few years ago Lego produced one of its best City sets, Prison Island, which featured a hot air balloon escape, and there have been some Friends balloons too.
3 hour Drive in Ireland is one side of the country to the other so to do that for Lego here is unheard of, but if I had that store here I totally would too! Amazing selection
I would call for the brick bank if I didn't just get 2 orders from shop at home totaling $485 U.S plus the other $2,000 in sealed lego I already have that I need to build.
Bricksie I got a question is it possible for a eleven year old kid to make a lego technic car because my dad really wants one but he can't seem to make it and he says that I should
I picked up several of the LOTR sets last year. They are seriously good builds and figs. I hope LEGO revisit the line with some new sets in the future. Like they have done for Harry Potter and will do for Indiana Jones! My fav type of vlog Bricksie!
Wow amazing stores and haul. The rare LOTR sets would be my go to for sure. I’m surprised you didn’t get Voltron or Jokers Manor though seeing as they are in your biggest missed opportunity video a few months ago. But I bet it must of been hard to narrow down what to get with such an enormous selection of incredible sets.
I'm lucky I live in reasonable driving distance from 3 different Bricks and Minifigs and a Lego Store...I don't take that for granted. That being said, none of those locations have a selection even REMOTELY close to what you showed in this video. My wallet would be hurting if I had access to these locations 🤣
The Star Destroyer at 5:54 was actually my first big star wars set ever and I still have it 100% complete with instructions. 1 of the best star destroyers ever made!
the Technic droideka is awesome and really fairly priced for including the box :D I'm surprised by the really decent prices, some are better than bricklink lowest!
Did Jose end up getting that Spongebob set? Least she should get for making the 3-hour trip! Always gotta take care of your woman dude. Great video as usual!!
So curious what that huge darth vader is seen next to the UCS B Wing at the beginning of the video, it looks like 75534 but I can’t find anything about it coming with a display plate at the bottom
Master Plan, collect Legos, start RU-vid Channel to help pay for said Legos, open store(web based) to sell/buy/trade Legos, sell store, retire with a classic car that has a LEGO#1 license plate. Step #1 buy two of every set you like, one for you, one for future sales. Step #2 video unboxing/build/parts to price ratios/history/opinions. Step #3 wait for product to retire or increase in price enough to cover the cost of both sets. Step #4 sell. For those of you who are married this is Step #1 to explaining to your wife on how you spending hundreds of dollars a month is actually making you money.
@17:50 not to be over Corrective but it’s “Sebuba” not “Sebula” hahaha! Both Pod Racing sets are sick! They should definitely make UCS pod racers of both
Every lego set that lego retires is a large profit lost for them and more money for the Hawkers that sell them on EBay at ridiculously inflated prices. Lego needs to stop retiring sets but move them to an archive section instead and allow customers to buy any lego set that has ever been at today's pricing based in brick count etc. I'm sure we wouldn't need to have original packaging but be happy to just receive the instructions and bricks we need, people would even be happy to have downloadable instructions to make this easier to happen and to reduce the paper. I'm also surprised with the Technic range that they have not thought to do a release of 2 1950s style cars,eg one in the 1950s blue with white roof and one convertible pink. A release of a improved UCS form of the original Star Wars Naboo Star fighter in yellow with the full appropriate compliment of shiny silver bricks and a release of a UCS Naboo Royal Starship also with full compliment of shiny silver bricks would also sell like hot cakes. But having all these retired sets available would bring in a lot of money for Lego and therfor ensure they will be around for many more years for all of us to enjoy. And fans would obviously be happy being able to buy any kit that has ever been and be able to start or complete collections of all the themes that have ever been.
I watched your video super close to see if they had anything that I was looking and I jumped and saw it!! There it is! They have one! I had to have it so I reached out to them and DANG IT, they don't ship to the US..lol..oh well, I will keep looking.
Hey there. Newer subscriber. I didn’t realize you were in AB until this video. We should talk. I have a pile of SW sets, sealed and open you might be interested in. In fact, there are a few sets you featured in this video that I’m pretty sure are ones that Tony bought from me.
I definitely need to find a store like this I see so many retired sets I want on eBay sold for way too much and I can’t be sure I’ll get all the pieces 😭
I know this is a day late but yesterday was my birthday the day you posted this video I just wanted to say thanks for all the videos to watch and keep up the work
The brick bin is very nice. But if you really want to be blown away you need to take a road trip to Atlanta brick co in Newnan Georgia, just outside of Atlanta. check out their RU-vid on Atlanta brick co TV. plus, Beyond The Brick has done a complete review also.
I both wish I lived a lot closer to that store and am unfortunately glad I don’t there are a lot of sets I saw that I am looking for 🥺 I’d be beyond broke 🤦🏼I have no self control 😝
I dunno if I would visit any of these stores tbh. Maybe its the overemphasis on licensed sets or the disturbing lack of themes from the 90s to 00s but I do know that I likely wouldn't find much here based on the footage provided. I'm happy you are excited for these stores and have the opportunity and ability to support them. Which I think they appreciate but I feel like I've seen LEGO resell stores with a broder selection. Maybe if I was a big licensed theme junky I'd be more excited.
Have you ever been to Wayne's Sports Cards & Collectibles?!? Would love to see them featured as a Lego stop on your adventure, Been there for over 25 years right beside West Ed. It’s a hidden gem.
