I rode the sister ship of st francis , St Michael years ago and the suites were better then. They had a bathtub and a Dinette in the bedroom. But I think MV 2go Masagana and Maligaya have better suites this days, with a Japanese toilet and tub as well
The lady and I have been on SFX and Masagana in staterooms, both were nice. The food definitely is just adequate at best. Fortunately, the staterooms are pretty isolated from the main deck noise. If you're in a stateroom you can get your meal delivered, just go to the front of the line and tell the ticket checker. Also if a Sr, you can go to the front, with your younger partner if that's the case. In BC Canada a 22 hour ferry trip is $148 US, without food or cabin. Our 2 day voyage on SFX was $186, at the exchange then.
wrong sir, even economy they had also freefood the in economy you have to rent the blanket, food is included in the ticket thats for all accomodation, the defferent os for economy the food is loacated at island fiesta, and yours is in horizon cafe
They should have the karaoke in a separate room instead of blasting for everyone to listen. My husband and I are thinking of doing this trip so we can bring our vehicle on the ship to tour Manila from Dumaguete. Nice video .,
I watched a lot of Vedios with RU-vidrs on go2ferry it seems like there is not a large variety and most RU-vidrs normally say the food is cold it looks like they always have flipina food not international food guys I just turn a new subscriber
You got to understand that minimum wage there is about $12 USD per day and 20 EUR is almost 2 days worth of pay. Majority of people there live day by day and buy rice by the scoop rather than a bag or sack. Karaoke is a cheap form of entertainment so you’ll see that a lot. Going to the movies is expensive for locals.
How much you pay the ride per person? I have checked online you likely paid 8.2 k php which is extremely expensive. Normal tickets will cost 1.5 k per person So why are you so excited about that? You should have taken a flight!!!!!!!
@@AwaywithAJ Next time do a better research about flights inside the Philippines, i lived there 15 years. besides you likely lost 2 days of your precious time by sleeping in a ferry....and for 3 ''meals''?????...2 days in a ferry??? How much you save? A normal bed in a ferry would have cost you max 2 k per person....If that is the way that new travelers travelling good for you ...and Filipinos hahah You could have spent 2 days in Cebu (Oslob and or Moalboal) and believe me flights from cebu to Manila cost 1.5 k per person
Since no direct competitor, 2go ferries kind of boring, no benches on sundeck then curfews not to mention the annoying karaoke singers, food not much of a choice, unlike the ferries in the 90's and 2000's...
