Kuala Lumpur is SO underrated!
I spent 2 days here and absolutely loved it.
🇲🇾 Here are all the places I visited:
Jalan Alor Food Street
Batu Caves (35 minute drive from the city centre)
KL Tower (tour - affiliate link - gyg.me/BDcDLLzR
Thean Hou Temple
Leaf & Co Cafe
DurianBB World
Jalan Petaling
Sri Maha Mariamman Temple
Thai Malai Restaurant
Helipad KL (we were three girls here and the waiter was creepy, so I wouldn't recommend)
🛌 Where we stayed
Initially, we stayed at Platinum Suites Gallery, but we moved to Tropicana Suites.
I wouldn't recommend our suite, it wasn't that clean, but here's a well-rated suite in the same building (affiliate link) www.booking.co...

Yes that's fair! Lots of places have big problems with overtourism, I'm just talking about it as a small youtuber with hopefully an audience who likes visiting new places and learning about local cultures etc 😁

Agree. Kuala Lumpur is underrated city. I believe Tokyo, Seoul, Beijing, Shanghai, Hongkong, Dubai, Mumbai, New Delhi, Singapore, Bangkok are among the top tier city list of Asia. Despite overlooked by many, Kuala Lumpur is a real gem of Asia, the heart of Asia. Multiracial culture in Malaysia is something hard to find in any part of Asia. KL is perfect example how people from different background no matter race, culture, belief can live together and respect each other.

If you have a KLIA layover, you can go to PD, Melaka instead of KL for a change of scenery....

I've been all over Malaysia before! Cameron Highlands, Melaka, Penang, Langkawi and this trip I went to Borneo. Next trip I want to do jungle train and Perenthian Islands 🙂

I wonder how KL could be underrated since it once had d tallest building in d world and now still holds d tallest twin towers in d world ... I am also always wondering how come foreigners especially from d western countries do not know about KL or Malaysia when KL and Malaysia had captured world news with d disappearance of d Malaysian plane MH 370 and d shooting down of Malaysian plane MH 17 by either Ukraine or their pro Russia rebel group some years back ... And then of course there's d infamous biggest kleptocracy case in d world thus far that happened in Malaysia too .... These news had definitely grabbed d world attention but when asked where KL or where Malaysia is, not many westerners seems to know ... I wonder why ... ??? ... 🤔
