Do you know a way to set the HTML webpage as your WordPress homepage (instead of having to load the .html file from a different directory than your root folder)?
The easy fix would be that you go to setting/general/ change the homepage to the URL of the HTML. The homepage will auto load the URL. Another way might be to move your WordPress installation into a subfolder and install your HTML in the root folder. It is impossible to edit HTML in WordPress directly. What is possible is first converting HTML page to WordPress, I'll be uploading a video on that soon. The default way to edit HTML page is to open the page folder and open the index.html file with a notepad or whatever app you are comfortable with, I prefer notepad++
@@JustDaps Hi Daps have you created a video on how to convert a HTML page to WordPress. Any easy online site that will automate the process from output files from HTTrack? Much appreciated
