Please use a plugin to back up the site. I have several videos on that. Use updraft or duplicator plugin for this. You can use this method too, but it's only complicating this if you have access to the site right now.

@Omiyo July I saw this when I first tried it. But it stated the reason was due to a language file they had which used characters that could not be duplicated for some reason. So I simply went in to the language folder and deleted all of the foreign languages that used characters different to English. Now just to let you know that I was able to zip the file afterwards, but, I have not yet uploaded uploaded the zip file because I have questions on other things. Hopefully Daps can enlighten us moving forward.
