Hiroshima is famous for dishes besides their okonomiyaki! We try Hiroshima tsukemen (つけ麺), also known as reimen (冷麺), a cold, spicy, dipping-style noodle, as well as shirunashi tantanmen (汁なし担々麺), a spicy, creamy noodle dish based off the famous Sichuan dandan mian. It’s an interesting look into how Chinese food has progressed in Japan to create its own uniquely Japanese dishes.
