@@traydevon I actually think is the best of all F&F. Every F&F movie gets involved into some political, cop or mafia plot as the main thing and the cars are left aside a little bit and everyone is already a pro. But Tokyo frift is the only one the main character isn't a pro and has to race and drive cars to win, it has cars as the main thing and the other things are just helping the plot.
@@SayGahTaah Still doesn’t. They could’ve drifted without Tokyo Drift ever happening just like they do everything else nowadays that they never did in a movie before.
I will never understand why people start up a saga with no intentions of completing the whole thing 🤦♂️, please don't be swayed by the critics give the whole saga a chance and then judge it for yourself in the end. It is never a good idea to listen to movie critics that just watch movies not to enjoy it but just to nitpick at every little mistake or problem they can possibly find 🤦♂️
@@ShadowTrailMedia I’m sure plenty of people would have to Google who Bob Ross is as well. That doesn’t really prove anything. Both are famous but considering her age I figured she would have at least heard of Ludacris. Ignorance doesnt disprove someone being famous.
There's a short film that shows what happened to Brian inbetween F&F1 and F&F2, why he got to that city and why he isn't a cop anymore, you should definitely check that.
100% You can see, even by these comments, there are two types of fans - those who like the traditional 1-3, and those who love the wild and crazy 5+ But even if your favorites are the later one, you can appreciated them much more if you’ve seen the earlier ones and you know all the characters and the history.
These first 2 movies are my absolute favorites from the franchise. I grew up watching them and I can recite entire scenes 😅 They’re not re-recruiting him into the police force but because he is part of the racing scene and ex-LAPD they needed his skills for this case so they’re making him the offer to clear his criminal record if he helps out “Elion and Fidel! Que pasa jota?!!?” is my favorite line from the whole movie, Tyrese delivered it perfectly “Y’all ain’t ready homeboy get to walkin Fabio!” another banger of a line 🤣 The little claw thingies they kept shooting were like electrical disruptors. Also Brian and Rome were working with U.S. Customs to catch Verone but the police were too and they were actually getting in the each other’s way “EJECTO SEATO CUZ!!” Iconic I don’t remember why Vin Diesel wasn’t in 2 (I think it was cuz he was filming the Chronicles of Riddick series) but he’s a mainstay from part 4 onwards
My opinion is that the first I'd say 5 are the best ones, after that they become something not of the franchise so they don't truly compare. However I do still believe the others are really really good (in their own respect) and are totally worth watching, the comedy from the 6th onward is great. None of the others have the same dynamic as the first one or Tokyo Drift, they stand as the peak of the franchise, the 2nd being 3rd best.
Yooo, the whole franchise is a ton of fun! They get more crazy as they progress but thata a part of the fun. It's like the crew is super heroes and their powers are C A R.
@@leonardodavid4670 After 6. It should’ve ended after 7 because it should’ve ended after Paul Walker died. I think 7 would’ve been better if that hadn’t happened.
I personally think the first three are the best but that’s not to say you shouldn’t watch the rest of the series keep up the great work and can’t wait for the next movie Tokyo drift.
Random fact. Vin Diesel's character Dom was supposed to be the main character of the second film, but he was offered the role in xXx for more money. He asked if the producers would be willing to at least match what he was offered for xXx and they told him no that he wasn't that valuable of an actor. He took the job for xXx and 2 Fast 2 Furious became a film about Paul Walker's Brian trying to redeem himself instead of Dom. It would have fit a little better if it was Dom and Rome trying to clear their records together, but the producers didn't want to pay what Vin was asking. The film xXx launched Vin Diesel's career and he was later offered even more . money to return to the franchise for later Fast and Furious films.
@@marlonclark1896 agreed. It still would have made a bit more sense to have Dom and Rome trying to clear their names with Brian being the Cop trying to help them learn how to be undercover agents. Basically the same kind of chemistry they had in Fast and Furious when Dom and Brian team up again, but with Rome added to the mix as well.
Sports card do in fact have airbags, but that car is from 1969, which didn’t have airbags. Plus a racing steering wheel eliminates the airbag in modern cars
36:04 its ironic that you mentioned James Bond, because the most frequent Bond composer (after John Barry) David Arnold did Original Soundtrack for this movie
All 9 of the movies are awesome. Some are better than others, obviously, but you should still watch them all. Something to keep in mind is that the franchise started out as racing movies, then they shift to heist movies, and now they’re pretty much pure action movies. They all always involve cars though.
Blue, I recommend that you watch the animated DC films. From Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker to the most recent ones like Batman: The Long Halloween, Catwoman: Hunted, and Legion of Superheroes.
36:40 the car Brian, and Roman jumped onto the yacht is not a sports car. It’s a muscle car. To be exact, it’s a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro. Air bags did not come standard really until the late 80’s.
There's a game called Wreck Fest that I own on PS4 and it's just like the demolition scene in this movie. I love the game quite a bit, but I find the handling extremely rage inducing and haven't played in over 7 months. I even removed it from my active list of on-screen games. I enjoy it a lot but I can't seem to get any goals completed, so I get nowhere. No upgrades, no new courses, NADA. lol.
there defiantly worth watching as someone born into cars and drag racing they get a lot of technical details wrong and I've never met any racer that talks like they do but glossing over that there fun movies with ok story's and cool cars a lot of cgi in this one but Tokyo Drift is almost all practical they hired three professional drift racers to do the stunts
I think there are 7 of the fast & furious movies now, and you must watch them all, once you start with one you have to do the rest. The black guy you asked about is a famous rapper called Ludacris.
This is not the movie, as you said, of "flying cars." That comes later in the series when they drive out of the back of flying airplanes or attach jet engines to cars and fly to outer space.
