The old guy in the blue jacket in the port where they train is actually Keiichi Tsuchiya, THE drift king irl, he made some of the drift stunts in the movie also.
Lol this reaction was strange, it almost felt like DK was the protagonist and also this was the only reaction where I seen them disappointed at vin diesel making an appearance at the end 💀
All women are i ntheir core ;D. They need the toxic part or they leave. Trixiy moral compass is a bit off i think according her reactions. Lol defending the biggest dickhead of the movie. Literally a criminal. And she thinks she can fix a guy haha.
I could not wrap my head around Blue's infatuation with D.K.. He's a d-bag wannabe crime lord that has absolutely no redeemable qualities. I actually think he's one of the better "F&F" antagonists for that reason.
girls tend like douchebags for some reason then complain that they get treated bad by them, like i say if you choose badboys over nice guys you desreve the way they will treat you
That’s exactly why she likes him, most girls like the guy that has nothing going for h them other than the bad boy look and lifestyle. She said it herself “I like bad boys” that’s also why most girls complain men are trash bc they expect to get a bad boy and for them to treat them right but still hold that figure… won’t happen.
A lot of women tend to not be able to wrap their head around the fact that an egotistical, violent person that walks over everyone expecting obedience is a sure sign they're narcissistic and abusive. I don't get the attractiveness of it at all but some women just love ignoring all the toxic signs and summing it up to confidence.
@@forensic_bones185 it’s usually the insecure ones that try to bring others down. Jealousy really gets to you huh? It’s not her fault she doesn’t like losers like you
I feel like I just spent 30 minutes watching a girl stick up for her abusive, narcissistic boyfriend hahaha.. You're basically proving so many people right about how stupid women can be. If you've gone for these guys and been hurt over and over, I am sorry but that's on you.
Sure hope you don't kiss your partner with that mouth. You legit sound like someone who will gaslight someone really hard and be shocked when called out
The best part of this reaction is watching Trixy come to the realization that a egotistic, narcissistic violent mafia member can be....a egotistic, narcissistic violent mafia member. The blindness of it is hilarious imo. Yes Trixy people who flare up over a dude talking to a girl they are barely talking to and who feed off of making people fear them are usually very abusive...obviously.
@@Pilot_Abilenedid u not watch the movie? Donkey Kong have a fvcking HAREM and ur still gonna defend him? LMFAO if ur husband/wife have an entire group of gf/bf are u still gonna be okay with it? Are u a Muslim by any chance? Ur hilarious dude 😂
Blue, I find it interesting that you are THIS biased for the guy that treated the girl like nothing more than a trophy. DK is an arrogant deuche bag. Nothing more. He didn't actually DO anything "cool" in his first race against Shawn. THAT was just standard. What he did was "show off" and then celebrate as if he actually beat a difficult opponent. His behavior is completely and utterly misogynistic and cave man-ish. All he does is treat her like his possession and you think she should be "privileged" to be a THING. Shawn actually talks TO her; not AT her. He actually wants to know WHO she is. Whereas DK doesn't CARE who she is. She owes his family and to HIM that means he OWNS her. So, I believe you're letting your personal taste and bias pervert your view of things. I apologize if this sounds harsh; that's not my intention. But you even admitted to having a preference to DK and his crew and I think you aren't actually seeing what's really there., because of that bias.
Except that she's NOT DK's girl. THAT'S the whole point. You seem to be missing that little detail Blue. DK is marking his territory like a dog pissing on things.
@@gjjijji No. She's not. She feels indebted to his family, so she acts submissive towards him. But she's not attracted to him nor loves him in any way. That is literally SHOWN, by her IMMEDIATE crush on Sean. DK is just that guy that NEEDS to assert his alpha male status. There's not one scene where she's ever comfortable with DK hanging all over her. The ONLY reason she's not telling him to eff off, is because that's NOT how Japanese culture functions. They are very much about honoring and repaying debts. If she really WAS DK's girl. Then why would he need to force her submission?? She's not his girl, she's his TROPHY.
@@patrickcromwell7554 when Neela says”you've changed DK” is that not imply that he was more loving in the beginning of their relationship and let the power get to his head? She said” it's over” what's over their relationship. Just because he was a d bag to her doesn't mean she was his girl
@@gjjijji yes because Neela has been close to Takashi's family since she was young and ever since he got a little power he's been controlling, pressuring and nightmarish towards her, they clearly are a thing in the film or were a thing and he's been emotionally manipulative to her to make her stay around and since he's been put a little position of power by his uncle he has changed, he once upon time wasn't a dick. let's not get it twisted, DK clearly thinks Neela and him are a thing and Neela thinks they aren't so she has to approach him about it if he's gonna keep attacking people she goes on dates with, whatever they had it's done.. if she can't go out with someone without them being hurt by this douche then clearly something has to be said. and then you get to see it fully play out as Neela and Sean walk back to his place (AFTER NEELA HAS TOLD DK THEY'RE DONE) and pulls a gun on Sean forcing Neela to go with him, he's pulling guns on people to keep her from leaving him, and now you see how it's been before Sean.
Omg the word vomit in this trying to justify you being in love with DK even though he is clearly a pos. Oh and Han didn't steal from Anyone... I don't remember if the movie made that clear or not.
well technically he DID, he was taking a cut off the top of DK's money...but Han did that because he knows more about business than DK does...after all anyone who knows FnF knows Han's background...he stole from DK because he doesn't buy his bullshit. it's the mentality that Han thinks "it's ok to steal if you know the guy your stealing from is a controlling piece of sh%$ anyway" i imagine Dom Toretto thought the same when he stole from those korean guys in the first film. remember Dom said "a business deal that went sour" to Brian. also as Han said "oh please...we're all thieves...what difference does it make" and that's a valid point...is goo goo ga ga DK gonna make a big deal over a bit of cash...aw is baby gonna cry :(
She is into him because she is not superficial, and she judges someone by their character and their actions. I normally love ur reactions but had a really hard time getting past ur gold digger vibes towards the other guy, oh and there isn't anything wrong with a cowboy ma'am. I wonder how many "cowboys" were subscriber's " On a good note I hope you do well on ur driving test.
i dont think trixie realised the girl is only dk's girl friend because she had to be or she would have no money or place to live .. " basically she was bought and paid for "
@@ohhSpxcy That is normal...? Red flag has been used in the English language to denote problematic behaviour literally before the internet was even a thing
In that line of business, he was doing the bare minimum, he actually made alot sense in doing so, especially in the business of the Yakuza, he is justified.
@@101stairborne6lmao beating up women, lying to your family and trying to kill people is being a man? Brother there’s a difference between being dangerous and in control which is a man and being dangerous and an idiot which is what DK is, dudes a walking talking red flag.
This reaction was so cringe worthy ... Lolz but each to their own I guess!! I do enjoy most of Blue's reactions and I am appreciative Blue covered this film and look forward to future Fast reactions.
Same feeling. If people simp for Japanese culture this bad, they just romanticizes it through anime and sht. I deem living in Japan a grim life, full of stress and mindless rule obeying. And as a frank person i deeply dislike their emotion hiding and putting politeness over sincerity all the time. There is way more but that would be too much of reading for a comment.
The big thing I don’t agree with you on is that Sean didn’t steal his girl. Takashi was just insecure as hell this whole movie. I can see why you simp over him but he was abusive as hell to Neela. Than again it’s just a movie and they are all really just children trying to prove themselves in the end. (Except Han)
The reason Neela was interested in Sean instead of DK at first, is quite simple: Sean stood up to DK. Nobody does that. She liked that confidence. There's probably also some form of attraction and then there's the fact they're both gaijin (outsiders), which probably makes her relate to Sean a bit as well.
I totally agree and another reason why Neela took an interest in Sean was because anytime she was around him she felt free and was allowed to be herself and speak to who she wanted to while DK was a control freak and treated her like his property.
What about keeping her from having a life because he thinks she OWES him. She doesn't even LIKE DK, let alone love him. She's not his gf. In any way. Imagine if you were taken in by another family and their son just assumes that you are now HIS and bullies and beats up every guy you start to talk to just because HE gets jealous. He has NO right to be jealous, because you aren't his girlfriend yet he drapes himself all over you in public to SHOW all other guys that you are off limits. He does this because in HIS mind you are together, BUT you aren't. Even when you tell him to his face that he disgusts you he still acts like you are gonna get married and have HIS family because you CANNOT possible do any better than him. THIS is the kind of guy you like Blue??? A guy who literally calls you trash to your face and who thinks being with HIM is special for YOU??
Damn Trixy, you are way head over heels for DK without knowing anything about him (except that he has anger management issues and likes to hang out with underage school girls) Looks ain't everything, ya know? He has a shit personality, so maybe he looks good but he wouldn't treat you right. This is how girls get into toxic relationships Sean didn't steal Neela. He just hung out with her. Han did steal from the mafia (not DK himself), but... it's from the mafia. They hardly acquired their wealth legally either.
Vin Diesel agreed to appear in this movie in order to get the rights to his character Riddick from Pitch Black and The Chronicles of Riddick. When I first saw this, I was surprised to see Lucas Black in the lead role. I remember him from a TV series called American Gothic from the mid-90s, where he played one of the main characters even though he was just a kid. I hadn't seen him in anything since then until Tokyo Drift.
For me this is the best Fast and Furious movie. This is the onyl one where a mafie or cop plot doesn't get involved too much and it actually revolves around cars and a character who has to learn new skills drive better and come up in the streets. The other ones are cool but they have too much of that cop plot to develop itself and the cars are left aside, this one does the opposite, cars and driving are the main thing, plus is in Japan. It reminds me a lot of Need for Speed Most Wanted
Dude, the Mafia IS involved wit this one. It's like part of the entire plot. Hahn is stealing money FROM the Yakuza. Which in case you didn't know, IS the Japanese Mafia. As for the other ones having TOO MUCH cop plots, that's because they are a continuing story. If they kept having new stories each time with trying to learn new skills nothing would ever happen. The story and plot would never advance because they re always trying to learn something new.
@@patrickcromwell7554 sounds like you need to go back to school for some comprehensive reading. Nicolas didn't say the mafia was not involved. He said the mafia is LESS involved (doesn't get involved TOO MUCH) with the plot. Which is true. While yes, there's a SIDEPLOT surrounding the mafia/Han, Sean doesn't really have anything to do with it until the end where he tries to make up for Han's mistakes by going directly to DK's Uncle. Reading is a skill. Just like understanding a movie is. You failed at both.
*Handsome young Japanese crime lord* Trixy: "I can fix him" 😅 I always thought Han was more of a cutie, personally. I like his chill confidence to DK's cocky arrogance.
gaijin is a VERY rude word...it means like outsider...but it's also disrespectful and racist...no one raised properly would say that word. it's easy to be a tough guy...or pretend to be tough like DK...girls aren't impressed by that...Neela likes Sean because he is like her...an outsider...someone who worked hard for what she's got. there is nothing impressive about a bunch of nasty yakuza who use power and cruelty to control people. DK thinks Han is just another guy who works for him...but Han has done things and seen things DK could never dream of (see other FnF films) might want to consider something...a thief doesn't doesn't make you a bad person...depends why you steal...Dom Toretto was a thief...they stole from those trucks...Brian and Rome were thieves too. people do what they feel is right by their own moral compass...DK thinks he owns everyone JUST because he is blood related to the Yakuza...but he isn't even IN the Yakuza...his uncle is. He acts like he owns his friends...the gambling...Neera...Han...but none of that is true.
But he's NOT doing DK filthy. It's the truth. DK himself is NOT Yakuza. He's the NEPHEW of a Yakuza who is barely more than an errand boy. I mean if your uncle is a cop, does that make you a cop as well??
You got this one so wrong , she was not DK girlfriend but his property, how can we enjoy your reactions with you shouting all the time / unsubscribing now !
Give it about 10 years and you'll realize that she's into him because he treated her like a human instead of a trophy. You'll grow out of the "Fascination with bad boys" once you learn to recognize all of the red flags of abuse, unfortunately, through experience.
I am not sure if your admiration of DK is genuine or if it is an elaborate joke. Justifying evil, abuse, and abusive relationships. Yeah... that's not one of your best moments, to say the least.
The fourth, the fifth and 99% of the sixth movie are all taking place before Tokyo Drift, but one scene in the sixth one and part of the seventh one will tie with this movie.
This right here is my favorite FF movie since it's the one most centered around cars, driving and the culture surrounding everything. And I really like that both Sean and Takashi are somewhat ambiguous characters, in many situations it's even easier to root for Takashi, as you very nicely pointed put by absolutely simping for him the entire movie XD A little heads up for the future: I won't spoil anything specifically, but the timeline gets a little complicated from here, the next three movies actually take place before this one... 11:53 I guess that's what car people are like XD Though there are few who get that feeling from a VQ35 (the engine of this particular car) The RB-swapped Mustang has been one of my all-time favorite movie cars ever since I first saw this movie. But the Evo and of course Han's legendary Veilside Fortune RX-7 are also awesome
Agreed, and also the cars in this one were real cars that were actually capable of what they're seen doing in the movie, as opposed to the original that had a bunch of non-turbo cars doing turbo stuff, or later movies with tanks going 100mph.
This is the only FF movie I actually like... Glad u enjoyed it like i do👍🤘✌ So just like Seans car in the beginning, it is not fancy on the outside. Its whats on the inside that counts. DK is all about his self image, never developing as a person from within. Where Sean is all about building yourself from the inside out, letting him develop from challenges as opposed to affluence.
Trixy says we had cucumber sandwiches at school! The rest of us Americans that went to public schools says we had dry Hamburgers and canned fruit cocktail! 😂
Dam so Trixy be liking them "bad boys" huh?? 😂😂 DK is definitely playing gangster in his lil closet lmao He's a big fish in a very small pond tryna be more than a burden lol but funny enough its easy to play his personality to get women like you 😂 which i will admit ive done and probably will continue to do because its too easy lol
This is my favourite FF movie from all of them, good music, awsome acting from everyone and a really round up story with a start and an end, every character got what they deserved beside the girl but i guess we needed a reason for all of what happened in the movie ;)
its a movie of fast and furious there are no kids hahaha and the streets are somehow empty in some ocations by the power of movies, and i cant believe you are with the bad guy
Han, or the actor for han looked way better in his previous film, better luck tomorrow. its pretty much part of the same timeline as the F&F series since he plays the same character
i should caution you trixy that this is when the FnF series started to go a bit odd with their timeline. In terms of when things happened it goes like this: 1 - 2 - 4- 5 - 6- 3-7- 8-9-10 Yeah don't ask why 3 is there it just is...i guess they wanted to go back and fill in backstory between Tokyo and 2...but makes sense once u see the mall...promise.
I’ve always liked this FF movie the best. Just about street racing and not CGI mission impossible crap that the franchise turned into after this. Plus the soundtrack is the most amazing, I still listen to many of the songs when I drive. By the way the guy you like who sent the cars off in the first race was the real life “Justin Timberlake of Japan”. I believe all the car scenes are filmed with real cars and drivers, not CGI, even the crazy shots like drifting millimeters from a wall.
1:25 "Be careful" Not me driving 100 mph down dirt roads in the countryside when I was a teenager before these movies even came out lol. 29:58 The amount of scandalized shock my gear head friends displayed when they put a Japanese-built RB26 engine in an American Ford Mustang was insane. You'd think their own mothers were insulted verbally by the entire country of Japan lol.
LOL, the girls wern't dressed as babies, it's called Lolita fashion, it origenated in japan but spread world wide, and it is based in victorian fashion, look it up, I think you might like it.
The Fast & The Furious 2 & 3 are my least favorites in the franchise. I feel they take the story way off track. To me Fast & Furious franchise is Vin Diesel & Paul Walker together.
Not to further enable Trixy’s DK thirst, but I read somewhere that originally DK _politely asked_ Sean to stay away from Neela but I guess that made him too sympathetic so they changed it to him punching Sean in the face and threatening him with the wheelchair thing. Cuz when you think about it DK wasn’t even that bad of a guy but he got royally screwed. His girl fell in love with some random guy and his best friend/associate was lying and stealing from him.
